Anyone knows how to copy layer markers to a comp? the opposite way
@林豐隆-u6m7 жыл бұрын
Dear Sir, Thanks a lot for the impressed tutorial. At the 11. Grimme Prop Path, you bring up a panel ( extension description ) to complete the operation, please advise how to have the panel, thank you very much.

Thanks Serge. Do you know if there are any plugins similar to Gimme Prop Path that are totally relative in their linking. Instead of using any shape property names in quotes it would use propertyGroup() and propertyIndex? The benefit would be to create dynamic references that I could use to duplicate many shape groups that could use expressions referring to their own properties automatically. I hope that made sense.

Came here to look for the "rd composition renamer" cuz i'm too dumb for it. Unfortunately it was not included in this video. Have TONS of comps that need to be renamed, i dont get the renamer, tho...

Is there a script for duplicating a composition and it will make sure to duplicate the internal compositions inside it?

How did you get those masks lined up so perfectly on screen in the 'reverse mask order' example?
@ukramedia7 жыл бұрын
I didn't do anything special. I created the circular mask in the center of my comp and I used shift left &right arrow to line it up. I CTRL + D to duplicate it to form a row of them. Once I was happy with the row, I selected the whole row and duplicated it few times to make a grid. Clear as mud? :-)

I have a *HUGE favor* to ask, if someone could help I would be forever grateful. Script *"Map Text File to Markers"* - can someone edit it so that it considers the first marker as the line's in point, and second marker as it's out point. And than third marker as the second line's in point, and forth marker as it's out point. And so on - so that this script can be used for making subtitles with gaps in between where there is no speech.

Cool, wish I had found your channel earlier :) May I just ask, can I use these in my youtube videos for the future? and if I do, who is the original creator for these scripts so I could reference him in the description? or is that not necessary. Anyways, thank you in advance.
@ukramedia6 жыл бұрын
Hey, Labib. These scripts were created by Jeffrey R. Almasol: redefinery.com/ae/rd_scripts/

Hey Sergei, nice video! I have the RD collection that I downloaded long ago, never used it, but after seeing this, I think I'll use some of it. and btw, I try to download Organize Project Assets scripts, but I think the link is down. can you upload it somehow? Thanks!
@ukramedia6 жыл бұрын
I would love to. Unfortunately, I would probably get into a lot of trouble because it's not my script. So I don't have the rights to give it away. Sorry about that. It looks like his website is down. I hope it goes up again soon.

Nice scripts and great video Sergei. I wanted to do connect one layer's opacity another layer's in point and outpoint. For example A layer will be %100 opacity when B layer inpoint beginning and will be %0 opacity after B layer out point. If you show me way how to do this i will be so happy. Thank you for script and expressions lessons because very hard to find worth tutorials on youtube.

most of these scripts are nearly useless. The point of a script is to help organize your workflow, not do something you can do yourself in 1-2 clicks with standard tools. They would just be clogging your AE space and hard disk. Some are cool tho (e.g. RD_GetSmart, gimmeproppath/info, organizeprojects)
@ukramedia6 жыл бұрын
I agree with you. gimmeproppath/info are the ones that I use all the time to write scripts with.
