Haha one thing I actually did though, visualize getting the job. I was in an interview, and she mentioned that she had 3 other job interviews later that day and she'd get back to me whether or not I was chosen (albeit I would have to have a trial period before actually getting the job, ofc). But when I got home, I added the job onto my CV to visualise already getting the job, and tried to think as though I already had it, and the next day she asks if I could come in later this week to try out. BOOM, going there this sunday. Wish me luck haha!

The only one I don’t agree on is getting “enough” sleep. I started following the sleeping pattern of successful people, which is approximately 4 to 5 hours sleep a night. My productivity rose and I was able to design and create clothing more, clean the house more, and in general get organised 10 times more and I eventually got used to sleeping less. Now if I sleep too long I have a difficult day. It’s truly as if we don’t need to be sleeping 8 hours.

Dear people from Skillshare. Obviously you demand the influencers that work for you to list all this crap in the beginning - how can you not see that exactly that makes people abandon the video before it has even started?!! This stuff she is saying about your brand does not evoke interest for your product, its just a list of stats and features. It actually sounds like pure advertising. This isn't smart influencer marketing...Having said that, your videos are great Muchelle!

Your skin is bright & beautiful & your hair blend in the centre is gorgeous! You( or we) can write a book & publish a DVD on the 22 successful habits! I recall Dr. Stephen Covey's 7 habits of highly successful people! ( I scream, you scream, we all scream for self- esteem & seek first to understand then to be understood) and paradigm shift back in 1998, year after my graduation! the paradigm shift was ( epiphanous, I recall this word too when I studied at university in 1995), it teaches one to avoid assumptions and gather all facts b4 reacting! that DVD by Dr Covey was fascinating! I rate you 10/10 on many presentability criteria, just like in 1990s, I am starting to like fairer skin complexions! thank you! may you prosper!

one thing my mum said once was actually listen to advices of people, wether they are good or bad (cause they can't all be good or appropriate for your life) and actually think about them, see if it's something good for you, put them into perspective.

Multitasking is the key to my life. I cannot concentrate on one thing only, I need to always do 2 and while taking a break from one do the other. Otherwise I end up staring at the wall unintentionally. I consider myself pretty successfull, I'm 28 yo and a doctor in the intensive care unit.

I really liked this video. It was interesting. I have something to add though, looking at the habits of successful people is not all you should look at. Sure there are some habits that lead you in their core for more learning and growing. But it's not the entire picture, we need to remember that a lot of the times successful people are not only smart, or have good ideas, they also get lucky, or naturally don't do some things, that's why it's important to not only look at habits of successful people but also at the other side of the picture, the people that were not successful, why, and than you can learn the entire picture.

This is a very interesting video...but then again, I enjoy nearly all your videos. I have a question, though: how do you define a "successful person"?
@muchelleb7 жыл бұрын
I think success is something everyone needs to define on their own, for sure. Success might look like a fully owned farm house in the middle of woop woop with a stay at home job and five happy children, or a rented penthouse apartment in the middle of the City with no children, but a successful business, a whole lot of yoga, meditation and reading. It's definitely something everyone needs to think about!

I do this weird multitasking thing that actually works. I have a few TV shows that I like to watch, which pretty much equals to 1 episode per day, which is 45 minutes of my time that I don't want to spend just watching the TV show, so whenever I need to work on my PC whether its design stuff, or writing, I put the show on one screen, and work on other screen, and I do my work very efficiently while getting just enough information from the show to know what's happening. Sure I might not see all the details, but I can easily summarize the episode afterwards while I still had some work done. Anyone else has TV in the background?

I may add that successful people don't even know that they are successful, if you know what I mean? And they do things for their self-growth and not to show off. (just some thoughts, may be wrong) Thanks for this one!
