Hi Mandy & Lee, Who ever designed Changi Airport had a brilliant idea, as it's without a doubt the most interesting airport in the world. There's so much to see & do, nature meets technology. Hi Sergio 👋 Yes it's definitely well designed and ticks all the boxes. It's constantly competing with Dubai to be the world's best now. It's easy to do a quick free city tour if you have time which is a nice touch too! The food prices are very reasonable considering Singapore isn't a cheap destination in general. What a wonderful overview of Changi! 👍🏻 🙏🏻 We’ve knew about the free tours but they never worked out for us (i.e., length of layover or time of day) so was very interested in seeing this option. Also the waterfall was spectacular! Wow-can’t envision this being implemented in most of the airports we use. We love Changi airport, lucchese20, and even more so after our recent experiences trying to sleep in Luton, Sydney, and Athens airports! The Singaporeans have created a brilliant experience for travellers, from The Jewel to the hot & cold water fountains everywhere, to the Cactus Garden and the Koi garden... we didn't even make it to the Butterfly Garden this time round 😁🤗 I'll be flying back from India to Australia on my own in August, transiting in Singapore for 8 hours, so I will make sure I hunt out more fun places in Changi ✈️😁 Thank you so much for your wonderful comment, Mauricio, it's always so lovely to hear from you 🙏🤗♥️ ~ Mandy

Yeap it’s world best airport but yet the things are very expensive in Singapore and the standard of living is high. I’m a Singaporean staying here and we are struggling financially. I still prefer Bangkok as I’m planning to stay in Bangkok and things are affordable and the exchange rate of Singapore dollars to Thai baht was a huge difference in currency. Been planning to rent a condo in Sukhumvit area of Bangkok by end of the year.
