I've seen your other videos and said you will be coming back again. Maybe you can do a 24hr video in the departure side next. Will definitely be more comfortable as there are snooze lounges and sofas to sleep. You can check out the attractions like the Sunflower Garden, Cactus Garden and Butterfly Garden. You can also catch a free movie in the cinema and rest while watching a movie. Lots of shops in there are exclusive where you dont see it outside the departure area. Anyway this video is interesting as its different from other vloggers who do their videos in the departure section instead of outside the departure section like you did.

32:50 That's light soya sauce. Dark soya sauce has a much thicker consistency and is less salty than light soya sauce as it has been fermented for a longer duration. Malaysians prefer light soya sauce with their soft-boiled eggs whereas Singaporeans prefer dark soya sauce with theirs. Ya Kun has both light and dark soya sauce and you can tell the difference by shaking the bottle a little as dark soya sauce tends to cling onto the inner sides of the bottle.
@JayandKarolina10 ай бұрын
True that! I think [Karolina] I must have just grabbed one of the black sauces not really paying attention to the consistency 😂 Although we would have preferred to have the sweet dark sauce! It just tastes better with the soft-boiled eggs in our opinion!

Welcome back to SG again! 😊 The carrot cake is made by mixing shredded white radish with rice flour, steamed into big blocks, then chopped small & stir fried. Both radish & carrot share the same chinese term, which is why it translates to carrot cake. As for the soup, the beans in there are actually peanuts. Lotus root is the root of the lotus flower. Such soups are already flavourful on its own, but if you need dipping sauce, can just get the light or dark soya sauce with chilli padi. Should get the dark soya sauce for the eggs, not the light soya sauce. 😅

@changboni4 ай бұрын
Pennny-wise but pound-foolish. That is the impression I get. Better planning could have made the trip more enjoyable. Why spend 24 hrs at the airport when 6-8 hours is enough? This includes taking a train ride to all the other terminals. Also, there is a thing called advanced check-in so there was no need to pay for temporary storage. Moreover, there are better amenities inside, including a free cinema and a swimming pool (small fee). There are great snooze areas and for a small fee, there is also a premium lounge where you can take a nap, shower and partake in a free flow of food and beverages. There was no need to sleep on a cold hard floor. Stand-alone shower facilities are also available if you do not wish to use the premium lounge. Stop being a Cheap Charlie. After visiting the Jewel, you could have checked in, or checked in first, then Jewel. Then enter the transit area, use the amenities in there and enjoy stress-free travel. Oh! Did I mention that you can have a massage too and a haircut, if needed?
