One thing I learned from another channel is if you pour onto the stir stick, instead of directly into the mold, this also helps reduce air bubbles

Thanks! I'll have to try that!

It also helps you not use wood as it adds air bubbles! Popsicle sticks are better if they've already been used & have resin covering them, but silicone/plastic stirrers are always best to use when mixing 😊

So I could use a regular resin in a deeper mould, it just wouldn't be as clear? 🤔 I've been a little apprehensive. Thanks for the all your great videos❤

I would recommend that if you are going to use regular resin in a deep mold that you pour it in layers. Otherwise you risk getting a flash cure that can be very dangerous. I was able to do this experiment in one pour because my room was cold and I know my resin very well and how it reacts. Every resin is different for work time and depth of pour. I hope that answers your question, and thank you for watching!

Oh l question can l use this resin to make Dominoes?.
@Redlotusresin11 ай бұрын
Yes you can, but just be aware that it takes about 3 days to cure. Sometimes longer for thinner pieces. I tend to use regular 1 to 1 resin for thinner, smaller things and deep pour for bigger projects.

Can you spray alcohol after pour to help with bubbles or not?
@Redlotusresin10 ай бұрын
You definitely can! I use 99% alcohol to pop surface bubbles but it doesn’t do a lot for micro bubbles deep in the resin.
