Yes, you preached to me about other peoples response…. My mother and aunt made a little giggle in New Year’s Day, kinda like a “I don’t know why you did that to your hair”…. And I’m 23 months in!!! And I KNOW my hair looks good!!! But it be your own people 🤦🏽‍♀️ I’m good though… it looks good to me… my husband loves them, I get compliments frequently…. I love them 😍

You are so right-you can't start this journey hoping for the approval of other people. Some won't understand your choice or know how sisterlocks progress over time. Your hair looks gorgeous-congrats on 22 months loc'd! I have a similar issue with my perimeter and face products. It's the darn sunscreen for me! I'm experimenting with new styles, but so far my favorite style is a crown braid.

Love this! The crown braid is quick and easy. I'm going to have to try that one again. Thanks for sharing!

I have been there. That is when I unraveled my hair. Shame on me! I was about to hit the Elder Stage. I lacked patience. I now have my small traditional locs again. Going to be patient.

Yes I started doing the shower cap since I started my sisterloc journey in November and its a game changer for me. My go to styles are braidouts and cornrows when its time for re-tie. Drinking lots of water and taking vitamins really also helped my hair. I am currently taking Nutrafol for 3 months and I do notice my hair has gotten thicker.

Progressing great and I’ve, added rice water to my scalp and herbal leave in of rosemary, lavender, cinnamon and fenugreek. That’s been working great.

I started my micro locs myself last year Nov.2022, I’ve been in love every since. My favorite style is pinning up the back crisscross and bangs going over my forehead, then I pull a couple piece out on the side. Your locs are beautiful 💚, it also took me 3 years to loc my hair. I wasn’t scared it was making sure on what I wanted because I was doing them myself.

Hello. My go to style is to wear my locks all going backwards off of my face with a couple of whispys pulled on the sides. I do that to help hide my thin crown. When on zoom I wear it to the side in front of camera because no one can see my crown.

2yrs Sisterloc’d and my go to style is a curled side part or top knot. Sometimes a braid out with side part.

HEY GIRL HEEEEEYYY! CONGRATULATIONS!!!! When I first seen your locs, I instantly fell in love. The fullness is IT! And oh yes I can agree with my microlocs I felt it wasn’t growing. But comparing my pictures I can see the maturity of my locs. #NewSubbie
