So ideally this is a great product and there’s probably a specific use case for it, what I have noticed in the device from the snippet at 5:02 is that it has an Ethernet port too. At this rate would it be better to treat it as a SMTP/FTP to be able to transfer and get files quicker as opposed to using a multimedia card? Transfer rate, card class and brand usually play a factor between cutting down time between transfers and I feel the FTP method would be much easier if the device itself supports FTP. In a closed environment FTP would make it easier for someone or a group to access and grab the file without having to worry about upload/download concerns. Unless the use case was your team is in two different countries then cloud I guess works. Once again, stellar production quality.

I love all of this so much, and see me 100% implementing this. The only thing I have not seen explained yet is how you get the stacked assets from Strada into the NLE. I see the important advances on set with viewing dailies I just don't understand the process once you move into the edit with strada. Thanks for everything!

I love this....however as a DIT, I'm curious how it will align with onset workflows for bigger shows and features who use C3 for example, for their dailies? Also how or where does Strada fall into with onset livegrading for us DIT's?

Great question! At NAB we'll be revealing a bit more about that very subject. When it comes to color correction, I think today's tools are serving the community well. But when it comes to transcoding, syncing, binning, and logging, that's an area that typically happens outside most DIT roles and into post. That's the area we feel we can help serve the community. But it's early so we're open to feedback as we develop our AI cloud workflow roadmap.
