22 Rifle barrel chamber

This video shows a poorly manufactured chamber in a commercially made 22 caliber target rifle. When you want an accurate firearm you need to ensure fine details like the chamber are made precisely. The rifle will never perform as well as it could with a defect like this. The ozzistraightshooter bore camera was the essential tool that helped find this problem. Before you spend hours trying to tune your rifle make sure it is made correctly to start with. Don't think that just because you have a rifle or pistol with a good brand name that it is assembled perfectly.

Just came across this video. Looks like a solid pilot reamer that caught some chips and chattered. They are more expensive, but the use of a reamer with a floating pilot that fixes itself in the bore and the reamer turns inside the pilot would help alleviate this sort of thing.

It really pays to carefully look inside a gun with a borescope to see exactly what your dealing with.

I had a cz shadow sp01 like that, had to run a reamer through it just to get it to shoot without tumbling the bullets
