I believe this is the restaurant my wife and I visited where they asked if we wanted the "American menu", and I asked what the difference was, and the girl said, "It has English and the portion is much larger". 😆 At least she was honest. I had a 400g Kobe ribeye and my wife had a 250g Kobe filet, plus we had shrimp, scallops, and fried rice. Amazing experience, excellent service.

Animals feel pain. Animals like mammals feel the same pain that you do. Shrimp and other arthropods don’t have the part of the brain that makes them feel pain like we do but they do feel pain .

The shrimp was probably killed earlier before, so the nerves are probably reacting to the hot water, which means it is fresh.

@@itscasper4787 while, i guess it is overpriced, fresh shrimp is actually served this way in japan, most restaurants in japan cook shrimp when they're still alive, or freshly kill the shrimp before serving, so, like it or not, that's the way it's done.
@350streetracer5 жыл бұрын
@@itscasper4787 its the way it should be. Crustaceans develop a bacteria immediately after death. That is why they are usually alive in tanks at restaurants.
