Watching Videos from Yourself, Patrick and Ann are having an effect on me as far as experiments go ! Later this week I have 2 bins that will be starting a Horizontal Migration. Instead of encouraging the worms to the end of the bin, I am going to try having them head to a side. Just wondering if having food and fresh moist bedding over a larger area, and the worms travelling a shorter distance leaving the less hospitable bedding will make a difference. Maybe quicker ? Time will tell.

I've typically migrated worms to one of the ends - I don't recall trying to get them to move to one of the sides. I suppose the reduced distance might result in a quicker migration :)
