Nice ThyssenKrupp Synergy MRL Traction Elevators - The Hampton Inn - Washington DC

Update: these are Synergy. You can clearly hear the brake.
I don't know if the hotel was recently redone or it is a new hotel, because of the elevators and the RFID door knobs, it leads me to believe that this place is new. (The building was built in the 50's) but the elevators run very nicely. I do think they overspeed a little.

That noise you were hearing when you opened the stairwell door was most likely the air handlers or chillers in the mechanical penthouse because as i recall synergys are mrl.

Those buttons are part of the vandal resistant series. They are the California compliant version. There's a video on my channel with new enduras with those buttons but they light up GREEN! It's my profile pic also. They also were at a Hampton inn and suites

This place didn't used to be a Hampton Inn. They bought what they could. Also, it makes sense considering the small floor space they have. So basically they built up instead of out.
