You have the right chemical. Its the application and dosage that caused the pigment change in Getaway's bumper. You can apply peroxide gel to the surface and bag them in a big ziploc for sunlight. You have to usually leave them for 48 to 60 hours. The recurring yellowing comes from the oxygen forming bonds with bromines (ABS) in the plastic. Its for flame retardance. To stop this you need restore a type of latent moisture back into the plastic to stop breakage after bleaching. Certain types of car waxes and head light scratch repair have have the ability to do this to a point. The whitened plastic has the big potential to turn yellow again but it can be mitigated with the right dilution in a 20% to 80% mix of gel peroxide like you get at sally. A bigger key to this is actually breaking down the item you are trying to whiten into smaller parts instead of being a whole piece. Oxygen is always an enemy to white plastics.

Good video man... I'm very hesitant to do this to some of my Joe figures so I was more inclined in just replacing them for another similar figure with painting or plastic like new...😀👏👍💡

As a console collector ,ive used this treatment some times. My advice, use hydrogen peroxide 20%mixed with vanish oxy action gel 80%.apply mask tape,on painted, colored parts to avoid whitening.after apply the mixture for perfect results, put the parts inside closed transparent tuperware on the mid day summer sun for about two hours.items will turn to factory White againg. Cheers

NEVER, NEVER NEVER put the chemical on the plastic it has been known and proven to weaken the plastic. If you have to whiten your toys put them suspended over the chemical in a clear bag, container and put it in the sun. This is from experience and years of other fellow collectors doing this. Other than that great video. But again NEVER put the chemical on the plastics
