West Aussie wings fan here, I work at a pub over here and put replays of all the wings games on the big screen in the main bar. I've converted about 20 or so customers into wings fans, most customers have seen bits n pieces before, but none of them had ever watched a full game before. Now they ask me to put wings games on for them. This game had the pub jumping earlier. You should know that there's a small knot of fans here in Bunbury West Australia. 💪

It sucks he's been kinda injury prone, and we're so far behind where we could be. But he's proving with our win % with and without him that he's a top 10 player in the NHL!

Edvisson's play this game was a major bright spot. He didnt get on the score board, but he made the plays that lead to Larkin's goal.

Such an interesting time to be a wings fan. With the slump you can see that Raymond has a definite higher ceiling as to the type of player/leader he is and can be for this team. And with Larkins return I believe it’s really setting himself up to turn into an absolute unit of a captain for this hockey club. Although we never wanted them to slump so badly, I believe there’s some good things coming out of it at least.

@@awood40 yeah.... 0-1-1 to start the trip. I think they're done. Hope I'm wrong but don't think I am. They had 72 points a month ago and now have 79. An epic choke job. I think they had 23 games remaining then and I figured 12-11 got them in. They already have lost 10. No way would I have imagined that happening a month ago.

SHEESH People are easily realizing how good Larkin is. Like, top 10 in the league unquestionably.... people who never played, or never covered hockey or anything are too quick to just look at the simple stats and numbers. But. yeah he's good no question! This was just 1 game though... we got some luck, good and bad, some missed calls, way more penalties against us, quite frankly they didn't play great in the 3rd period lmao. Islanders missed some ridiculously easy chances, just like Detroit did vs Columbus. But they've won 3/4 now so, hopefully this is a march toward the right direction ^_^ P.S. Christian Fisher, GET THIS GUY MORE ICE TIME!

This road trip has "MUST SWEEP IN REGULATION" written all over it., except for Nashville: That one can go past regulation with no repercussion. Going past regulation against the Caps isn't necessarily a bad thing, too. Gotta win that game, though, if it does go past regulation.

I think the only thing that drove me nuts in this game was that the officials - and you clearly have them on display on them - were very NYI biased in my opinion. Like what the fuck was that JT Compher interference? Both teams played great, and I was definitely entertained.

Rhymes has been doing the Hasek lately....he is all over the crease spraled out! Still let's in the scatter weak one.....but much better confidence for sure.
