Yes I know. The movie Charles Lindbergh with James Steward has some nice building footage in it. Fokker was well ahead of his time with the composite construction of steel tube frames and wooden wings.

I suppose you mean the large rings? These are the part of the ground scafold that hold the wooden handles that form the control coloumn grips.
