Out of all of your videos that I've watched, this is the restaurant I'd be most tempted to try - the chef being so friendly really elevates it. I know I won't ever actually go, but the video lets me get a little bit of the experience from afar. Thanks for this and all your other videos!

I recently discovered your Omakase series and enjoy watching it very much. I really Sushi Hasegawa because they serve a mix of sushi, tempura and ramen. I can't find a website to make dinner reservation. Do you have any information on how to make a reservation on line for mid March, 2024?
@WalkwithFa7 ай бұрын
Hi. Glad to know you enjoyed my videos 😊 if you want to make a reservation at Sushi Hasegawa, you can contact them on Instagram through DM or if you have LINE messaging app, you can add the restaurant as friends and text them to the make reservation through there. There’s a link to their LINE ID on their Instagram bio. In fact, LINE is what most restaurants in Bangkok use to take reservations and enquiries. So please try it out 😊 if these doesn’t work please let me know. Thank you for watching my videos and if you visit Hasegawa-san at his restaurant please let him know you came from Walk with Fa channel, he’ll be so happy to hear! 🥰

Wow! I love all your videos. I know its hard to pick but if you had to pick one for a first timer visting Bangkok this weekend! Which of the many places you have visited would you recommend? We like everything and have had omakase all over the US but never in Bangkok.

Hi. Thank you for your comment 😊 it’s sooo difficult to choose one so I’ll choose a few of my favs! - Sushi Hasegawa is great if you want to experience various Japanese dishes in one Omakase. I particularly love his Tempura dishes, one of the best I’ve had so far. He also serves live eel which is rare in Omakase. And Chef Hasegawa will explain to you about his food through out the course which is always a plus for me. He’s very skilful and does everything by himself, a true one man show! - Sushi Misaki is another favourite. The restaurant is in a tradition Japanese setting, casual and fun, you can also drink Sake with friendly Chef Misaki, he’s super funny. I love his fish selection and his sushi is flavourful and wholesome. I’ve visited here many times, def my go-to Omakase place, it has never failed me! - Sushi Zo is another great option if you’re looking for something a little more fancy as it’s in a 5-star hotel. Vibe is modern and fun, Chef Masa served us and he’s super friendly and fun to talk to. Both sushi and appetiser dishes here are amazing. I went one time and definitely want to go back again! - Ginza Sushi Ichi is another great one especially if you’re shopping downtown as the restaurant is at Gaysorn building. Chef Ken served us and he makes amazing, delicious, flavourful sushi. He’s a little more quiet but I didn’t mind as I really enjoyed watching him cut fish and make sushi, he’s very skilful and professional! They also received 1 michelin star before they moved to this new location. I also cannot not mention Sushi Masato, a michelin starred sushi, one of the best in Bangkok but it’s almost impossible to make reservations as it’s fully booked all the time 🥹 I made videos on all of the restaurants I’ve mentioned above. Please search for them in my channel and see which suits you best 😊 I hope this helps and enjoy Bangkok! ❤️🥰

@@WalkwithFa Thank you so much for taking the time to reply! I know it's hard to pick. Yes, we tried booking Masato but it was booked back then already. We will try Sushi Zo and also try to squeeze in Sushi Hasegawa! I will report back if you'd like. Thanks again and look forward to more of your beautiful curated content😍😍

@WalkwithFa8 ай бұрын
Of course! They only use real Wasabi in restaurants of these standards. Thank you for watching 😊
Hi, thank you for your comment 😊 That day I did ask Chef Hasegawa if he would call this Kappo, but Kappo means Sushi is not served in the meal. His Omakase also includes Edomae style Sushi, but not focus on only Sushi. I think it’s a unique style that’s hard to categorise. But it’s delicious and that’s all that matters 😄 thank you for watching as always! 🥰
