ohbh and consistency in the same phrase... lmao. totally overrated type of backhand. Only work when the opponent gives easy ball and on fast court. But eh, ohbh is labelled as 'elegant' so anyone doing it is automitically labelled genius even if it's one good shot like this over 651616223 average to boring where they just keep slicing the ball over and over and over. Not talking about Shapo here, but absolutely ALL players with ohbh

Presumably the purest talent of the young generation (with the italian L. Musetti), the difficulty being his unfortunately limited mental capacities and a strong tendency to give up when everything is not in line. Looking backwards, three years ago and while he was barely 20, everyone thought he would make it to the ATP top 5 and won multiple grand slams... He is now ranked at the 15th position, has just won an ATP 250 event and, worst, does not show any improvement in numerous departments. That being said, he performed well at Wimbledon 21 (SF) and AO 22 (QF), he still has an incredible potential and is a pure joy to watch in a good day...
@Misayah292 жыл бұрын
Why do you say he has limited mental capacities?
@the_stillborn12 жыл бұрын
@@Misayah29 At first I didn´t like that sentence either. But I think he refers to mental toughness and confidence, crucial aspects that makes you win matches when everything seems to go wrong. Those aspects are even more important than technique in many disciplines but specially tennis, I know it because I play tennis and I've been struggling with that mental part in the past too, lol
@Misayah292 жыл бұрын
@@the_stillborn1 I see. The way he phrased it made me think he was not referring to mental fortitude. lol Thanks for your experience as well. :)

Very talented player but he lacks of focus and in some way mental strength. Doesn't really have strategy and relies too much on trick shots. Hope he can improve on that side because I feel the potential is there same with Musetti. Very stylish players but their mindset is stopping them to evolve in my opinion but perhaps I'm wrong
