This video is a JMAC Engine Shop rebuild completion video on FM164694UE. This is a Triumph Spitfire 1500 engine that has been completely rebuilt with performance features included. I shaved the head to achieve a higher compression ratio of 9.5:1. The compression numbers bear that out as the cylinders were over 180 psi or above with the exception of #1; its compression was a little lower but expect that to improve as the engine breaks in. It has a 270 duration cam and new flat top pistons. It has double valve springs and dual sprockets and timing chain. The rocker shaft was replaced during the head rebuild process. Valves and seat were ground to achieve perfect seal. It has new valve guides, tappets, bearings, gaskets and seals. The valve cover, timing cover and oil pan were all powdercoated red. Oil pressure was 75 psi at start and never dropped below 50 psi even when hot. If you are interested in a JMAC Engine Shop rebuild, visit my website at jmacengineshop.weebly.com
