I can appreciate the creativity you've done with your inventions. Although this video is 4 years old now what's your current land paddle set up? Back when I got into land paddling in 2012 I was riding a then new recently released Loaded Dervish flex 2 with Paris trucks and Oragantang 4 president wheels. I've decided to jump back into it once again after a 7 year hiatus and a few things that seem would be a fun thing to blend together would be a loaded drop through deck, carver trucks, and the new dad bod wheels.

I ride a 200mm setup.. stable and rolls everything.. has good camber for clearance.. has a bamoo and maple deck..

yeah man.. I made a handle to help me learn to push switch.. I still push allot but like the core workout I get from the paddle.. more miles and more fun I technically would say if push, paddle and pump is a great way to skate.. but my roads are junk so I love my big wheel board..

@@ZENxTENinc Awesome. I'm struggling to practice pushing switch now, and it's definitely a challenge. Are you able to paddle uphill (on medium sized hills) or it doesn't work uphill? My switch pushing practice is mostly when going uphill, as I find the slow speed much easier to push switch.

They ride really well.. I have a vid where I roll over everything and through rocks and more. The big wheels make it super safe and fun to ride because I do not need to look at the road conditions as much for those small rocks or cracks.

nah.. hardest part about skateboarding is kicking and rebalancing.. i make a handle to help with that and the land paddle does as well.. once you are balanced you can push and get use to turning... stay on the flats and you will get use to it real quick.. wear protective gear and have some fun.. you keep the paddle out of the wheels and can use it to drag and slow you.. the big wheel board also lets you push your rear foot into it to slow as well.. the paddld is good forna core workout as well..

Very impressive. I am trying to do something similar over here in The Netherlands. My problem is the small orange jig you have to stabilize the Dremel tool and truck axel. Did you build that yourself or is that for sale by some brand? If I know what to look for I might be able to find it here in Europe as well. Thanks for your reply and keep on modifying!

yeah I made the jig to mod the trucks.. I dont like making them more narrow though so I had some trucks made with 45mm axles instead of 35mm ones and sell them on www.braapstik.com. No.. they are wider and to kick on wider trucks would not be great with large wheels.. narrow and more out of the way is much easier to push..
