yup it's a howitzer. I drove these, or a variations of these M109 in the Marines years ago (86-89). We would transport these on these trailers. We would drive them right on to the trailer. If I remember right you they would hang off the side of the trailer by about 6-10in. You had to drive straight on and trust the guy guiding it you as you drove it on. Thanks for the videos....always helpful.

Maaaaan Dan it definitely B's that way sometimes in trucking! It's ok to blow off a little steam from time to time and that way you won't go back out on the track and put the first car you see into the wall...lmao. Pass by the house and hug your better half, get a home cooked meal and scratch the pups on the tummy and come on back out and try it again! Every now and then, a little rain must fall....Amen and a Boom Shakka Lakka!😂😂😂

No doubt, it was very frustrating to have the loads that were booked, end up being cancelled. Together with your dispatcher, you always make it a point to be on schedule. You make good working plans. But when customers changes their plan, or worse yet, cancels all together, this costs you money. Should it bother you? Of course it should. But like I commented in a previous video (working under the truck, on the exhaust), you still carry yourself in a very professional manner. And for that, you earn the respect from those of us who stay with you, watching your videos, and share in your frustration from what happened during the week. Together with the other 9,000+ viewers (so far), I too, look forward to seeing and hearing that you have a much better week. Thumbs up. Thank you for another good video, Dan. Aloha! That is a nice truck. The cab and the overall wheelbase are oversize as are the fuel tanks. And that trailer while good and maybe the only way to load heavy items, like tanks, cranes, front end loaders, does have one drawback. It is very low to the ground so any bumps or such on the road may be an issue. Perhaps it can be slightly raised up after the load is on it. And it looks like the owner of that rig is based in Texas (as they say: everything is bigger in Texas)

I can always spot your truck from the air, and now there are those two clean boards on the bed of the trailer as a dead give a way LOL........ I also think you should try flying your drone inside the garages, in one door and out the other, lol..... It was great footage, but now we need close up's of the TA sign and the bulbs in the tall truck stop lights lol..... I wonder how that big sleeper cuts into his weight hauling ability and truck length rules/ laws in a lot of states. That's probably a 50 Ton RGN, I’m surprised he's allowed 3 axles without being too long without having a permit for everywhere he goes. That is also a crappy board he has on his outriggers via the trailer. Tanks like that are hard to chain down, at least the amount of chains I'd like to see. He should have a 4 axle tractor and a 3 axle trailer with the flip for heavy haul if he’s going to get good use out of a 50 Ton RGN. Those cylinders get in the way (flip axle), is why you don’t see them a lot not to mention they are expensive. A lot of guys leave the “flip” axle at home when it’s not needed. It eats up room on the trailer when it’s just folded up, for example when you have a long light load.................... I'm surprised your wife lets you in the house with those "cow" glasses on LOL...... You also need to stay out of Florida, you can't get a load out or have a long deadhead......... You can always complain to us, we are a captive audience lol...... I don't mind hearing the good with the bad, I just feel bad for you when things don't go right. But you have to admit, until last week, you had been doing really well both load and truck wise.... Perhaps the “cow” glasses bring you crappy luck LOL… I have yet to see a bad video from you & I promise never to give you a thumbs down.

That sure was one spec'd up truck those folks had, nothing wrong with that but the bill to do it aint for the faint of heart, I like the trailer they had for the heavy haul especially the hydraulics for the flip, that is nice to have because some heavy haulers have a problem at times getting them flipped when they dont need em. As for the things changing on a load, that is one of those things that is out of your control, broker usually has no clue ( and the odd times they do they dont want to say anything so you dont cancel out ) It's frustrating when you have things planned out and your going to make a certain dollar amount and then things changed and the income from the load changes, it makes it a little tough especially if a percentage is tied to the partial load that is being removed, that can raise some hell with your profit margin especially if it is the better paying part. That's trucking though, things can change that are beyond your control and you just have to grin and bare it. Remember that once the load is done, it's is out of the way and on to better things

Tank is just the generic term for any tracked vehicle with a Gun mounted on it any more. But j jar is correct. That beast of war will ruin anyone's day who is on the receiving end of its care packages. With the proper crew it can drop 3 155 mm shells on the same target from three separate trajectories in about 30 seconds. With all 3 shells arriving all at the same time.

Notice the woman sitting in the front because this is conciderd a surveillance load ..2 drivers and someone needs to be with the load 24/7 and it's tracked from the Pentagon. Clearance is needed for these types of loads.and unlike most gov. Unsecured loads ,these loads pay upwards to $20,000 sometimes more depending on the value and nature of the load ...thers only 23 co. That do these secured load and if your considering leasing on to one of these co., be prepared for the FBI to turn your life upside down and even visit your friends and family. This is a drawn out process ,so don't expect an immediate response on if you get your clearance or not ..mabe up to 6mos. A preliminary 90 pre clearance is typical and if it gos further than that, you will probally get it ,unless they dig up some dirt on your character, bank records or find out you owe taxes lol ,.
