I hope that my experiences and reviews will be a reference to those who have purchased or are planning to purchase Ruckus. 루커스를 구매하셨거나 구매 예정이신 분들께 제 경험과 리뷰가 참고가 되었으면 좋겠습니다.

I love that you found a great mix of riding characteristics for you at high speeds that allowed you to bring the board closest to how you personally like your DIY creations to behave! I love how you put it. Rather than learning to adapt to a board you can change it to force it to adapt to you and the way you ride! Great video!

I’m waiting for mine to turn up in Australia and tbh if you’ve ever been into MTB riding the amount of adjustment on high end suspension is an art in itself sometimes to set a bike up then change to a different location different terrain it’s 3 steps back to refine the ride again .So I’m fully expecting this to take a bit of time and fine tuning that’s half the reason I bought it but aslong as it can be tuned I can’t wait for it to arrive .

Your reviews are very impressive man!! You're a great story teller. Very good editing 👍🏾 And I'm not really a dog person but your pup looks soooo damn cuuute!!! 😂 I'm an absolute total newbie beginner to all this eskate stuff but leaning towards your recommendation of the NYX Z3 for my first board. Not a big fan of the battery block but growing to like it. Overall the board seems immaculately engineered. Prior to that I was sold on this Ruckus but at the moment think I'll go with the Z3... Let's hope I get a nice big bonus next month 😄😄😎

Awesome as usual. I do think eboards are getting more over engineered and complicated with more failure points but i appreciate the innovation.

Mike from Propel here. The way we approach design is to reduce reliance on any one single component. Take a single wheel impact collision where all force was absorbed. You can bet that for many kingpin designs either the kingpin would snap or the baseplate. On a Propel Endeavor the same thing might crack one of 4 control arms while still having 3 other control arms and enough stability to help bring the board to a slower speed and lesson injury risk. Similarly, with Ruckus even though we decided to protect the hydraulic damper the Ruckus trucks can function as traditional channel trucks even with our damper removed. In other words, the damper could fully break off and the rider would remain traditional channel truck control. This is also why it’s important to get bushing setup right. For what it’s worth replacement of our dampers is also easy and similar to precision hanger design from botique builders with adjustable axles.

@@mikemenard4543 I totally get it and really like the innovation. I guess, I am just a normal skateboard and longboard rider who got into ebaords and find some really technical but also, intriguing and appealing in some strange way. Thanks for the explanation as it really helps

@@skfunk4550It seems this is the way the mainstream boards are going. The DIYers seem to go the other way. I personally find these trucks incredibly ugly, but I know plenty of people love stuff like this.

@@BlownMacTruck I'm more into a longboard style of boards, electric or not since that's what i am use to. I can't even feel comfy riding AT wheels so street is all i do and prefer. I love the harsh feeling i get with my eboard as with my non electric boards including skateboards.

would you consider this board more or less stable as the propel pivot gt? Are there any boards with traditional or double kingpins that are 'carvy enough' and stable at 50kmh at the same time?

Hmmm... Not to be so offensive but...what is the actual meaning of a hydraulic dampening truck if your still going to change bushings in it? But!! The board is sleak. I admit that 😅
@mikemenard4543

Mike from Propel here. I can answer that. With 3 x bushings in each truck step 1 is to ensure you get the right bushing for your weight and ride style. The hydraulic dampers are stability assists similar to what’s used on higher speed motorcycles first and foremost so that when a wobble trigger begins you can recover and keep going. However, as multiple reviewers have mentioned it can also be used secondarily as a quick way to tighten or loosen truck behavior on the fly for specific case uses while out on a ride. The primary purpose though is giving riders a tool in their toolkit to stop a wobble from spiraling out of control. This is why we first shipped Ruckus with super soft 70a bushings to reviewers.. Even with those people were getting “sways” but not something that spiraled into rapid uncontrollable side to side chaos. They would briefly experience a slight movement to the side and then correct. Riding the same speed with a more basic truck and such soft and maneuverable bushings would have not allowed for the same recovery at such speeds. Imagine these guys having a DKP setup with 70a bushings for example once any kind of wobble trigger first began. You can bet the results would have been terrible. We went with a firmer bushing setup stock from batch 2 onwards because the hypersensitivity of grey 70a bushing is arguably too much sensitivity for the average rider above 175lbs so we set it to black and black now which has been a much better stock setup for the average weight and rider style. We also offer red for heavier folks or someone who wants a very specific ride characteristic.

The power performance of nomad N3, Z3, Z1, and Major V2 using 14S voltage was similar and relatively more powerful. And Propel GT and Ruckus, which use 12S voltage, were similar.

SOLID VIDEO. Do u know any riders who you can test on the board who weigh more than you? I weigh 210 lbs (95.3 kg) so I'm wondering if the board could handle my fat ass on it with use of the red bushings and the highest tightness on the ADT. If I purchase the board I will be using the 55T drive gears for higher top speed. This means I will probably be going around 35ish mph and again I weigh 210 lbs. I just wanna know if you can showcase the board being able to handle someone of my weight if all of the highest stability settings are used. Thanks!
@KAMiJUINs
@KAMiJUINs 2 ай бұрын
Even if you replace the rear rebound bushings and turning bushing with red ones, the board seems to support your body weight to some extent. If that's not enough, try adding the front rebound bushings and turning bushing in red color in that order. Also, the damper is not stable even if it is tightened all the way. You should find while riding the tightness that is comfortable for you. So, after adjusting the bushing combination first, set the damper as an auxiliary role.

There are two gears provided in each Ruckus box. A daily use torque gear and another with less torque and more top speed. He is using the torque gear, not the higher speed gear. Visually, he looks close to 50-55km hr at times in the video.

@@KAMiJUINs thank you for the reply Kami. I think there is a hidden mileage limitation to the speed because I am at 30 miles on the board and can hit 33 mph easy now. Did you notice any problems with motor stutter and synchronization at lower speeds? I have no fine speed control 0-13 mph
