Nearly everything we piece together to tell us the stories we want to hear that define us in relation to each other are rooted in cultural conditioning. Without knowing "membership", lining up people from many different cultures and even their place in histories up to 75 or 80 thousand years ago or more, like in a police line up, there would be no way to identify them except as all being human. Indeed, God has been having a lot of fun through us in all our unique diversities.
