Rebuilding a Wreck Jeep Cherokee SRT. Part 4.

Welcome back to the channel everybody as most of you already know we have been working on this jeep grand Cherokee for quite a while now and we have a lot of work still left to do on it. If you are new to the channel check out some of the previous videos to get up to speed on what’s going on with the jeep currently. In today’s video, we will be finishing up the framework and stripping out the entire dashboard so we can finish welding, and after that we are going to surface everything seam it all up, then get it painted.

Yuri giving the chassis a good seeing to with his mighty Thor Hammer, go on buddy, beat it into submission have you ever thought of using an air chisel with modified blunt tools, they work really well for hard to get at areas like you were doing - i also use for removing suspension bushes, job done in seconds, just need ear defenders though watching you wrestle with all these modern wiring looms, manufacturers really don't think of the maintenance and blood spilt undoing it all, the connections push together easy but so difficult to get apart and so bleeding sharp too

You should probably get cat fixed. That usually calms them down from fighting. I had a black Tom Cat years ago that roamed around and got in a ton of fights. He ended up with infections and wounds that cost a fortune at the Vet. Once he was fixed, he calmed down and pretty much stayed out of trouble.

When you said you have to replace the Dash Board it looked like you were going to have to remove the rear bumper the way it was engineered LOL

4:38-4:48 why not take a electric jack hammer and make a modified bit for it to use as a extra heavy duty plenishing hammer for tight spots like that so you can hammer/pound it back into shape...just a thought it mite/might save you a bunch of headaches when fixing dings/kinks in thicker metal like frames

Nice pulling on this car ! One thing i don t understand why a whole dashboard must be removed because of the airbags, is there no easier way to find replacing those airbags without chancing the whole dashboard ?? Video more than okay and Cat is the Boss !!!

The passenger airbag cover is integrated into the dash pad. It's basically just a weak point in the pad. If that bag blows the cover is not repairable and must be replaced.

my rough running 1999 s-10 zr2 4x4 v6 ext cab navy blue has been in the shop here for going on 8 months they have given every excuse under the son why they cant work on it or fix it...i now do not trust any shop in columbus ohio to fix anything
