Make Your TURBO Whistle Crazy LOUD!!

This video was an epic one as the turbo on the Cummins gets louder! The simple way to do that is by adding the AFE stage 2 intake! More airflow equals more horsepower!

If you dump the exhaust directly into the cab, you can solve two problems at once! You’ll hear the turbo much louder and you won’t hear the seatbelt chime over the exhaust!

You can turn the seat belt chime off by starting with the truck off, put your seat belt on, turn truck to run, don’t start just into run position. Then within 10 sec unbuckle, rebuckle three times and then turn the key off 😉👌

I had the S&B intake and I put in the motor for the "RAM AIR" door, but I never put the flapper on(opening was always open getting air in) and I never had any issues of water getting in to effect the filter. I can't remember in the box had a small drain hole in the bottom, or not, to let the any water out if any got in.

If you get water inside the box , just drill a few drain holes in the bottom . Itll help air flow as well.

Hey do you get a squeling noise when at 200hp adder on with the mm3 tuner and your stomping on it ? .at 30lbs boost. My truck has this tuner and on the 200hp tune it's makes its scratching squeling until it gets going

Really wanna get turbo whistle Remove the turbo factory silence ring out get ride of the side plastic doors in your intake box Allowing to suck air throw both box air inlets Pulling trailer up hills you ll get the most 👍💪

You get less performance doing that tho, I will be putting an s&b intake and a ATS aurora 4000 turbo, with banks monster ram intercooler and intake elbo setup. Bitch should scream

How do you get the exhaust brake on while idling ?

There is a button on center dash to manually turn it on, has to be cold enough otherwise it won’t come on though

@@troyhollen5645 some tunes will allow that memory of Eb, but on a hot summer day turning on the exhaust brake won’t do anything on idle because it doesn’t have to , between the idle up and EB acts as a warm up function

So my cummins and all light duty trucks that I'm aware of gave an exhaust brake which is a valve on the exhaust side of a turbo that opens and closes to create back pressure to slow the truck. A Jake brake or Jacob's engine brake has to do with the internals of a motor i.e the valves and most semi trucks have what's called a Jake brake and not an exhaust brake. It's pretty interesting on how they work definitely worth a KZbin search
