This NOAH certified tiny house was built with simplicity and functionality in mind. Downstairs sleeping was a key part of the design. A year ago we polled over million users on The Tiny House Listings site with over 200,000 people responding. The goal was to learn exactly what the ideal tiny house would look like for the maximum number of people. Price point, layout and functionality were the three main focuses. This tiny house called "The Model Tiny" is the result.

Just some suggestions... raise the fridge (reverse it's door too) and place a deeper cabinet below it. Storage below it should be a slide out toe kick, otherwise it's pretty difficult to get stuff out. This tiny looks like it's 6ft wide. I think 8.5 works best (every inch of space matters). And lastly, if the windows are just a few inches higher at the bottom, furniture placement would be visually better. I find a higher pitch or shed roof is more appealing too🥰

Have a shorter cabinet over fridge so at least an apartment size refrigerator can be placed. That small drawer under refrigerator isn’t very useful and I think most would rather having more refrigerator space.

I really like the look of this tiny house, the extra time it took to paint that beautiful emerald green color on kitchen cabinets! The size of the shower is spot on. I appreciate the look on the outside of house. Just because it is smaller, less money, doesn't mean you only deserve a plain square without character. Great Job on that aspect and Thankful. I agree, it does need more storage. I'm sure that will be a fix you can . Ps I understand you added quality touches and the new owner can provide their own storage for clothes etc.. It's nice it seems a bit narrow and some what Claustrophobic in my opinion. It needs a full-size fridge, and it doesn't have to be a side by side. The cabinet above it seems to be a wasted space.

Looks nice. I hope there is storage under the bed. Also the refrigerator doors need too be turned around. I don't care for the color choice but do like the house.

The bed you see in the tiny house is just staging. If you prefer a bed that has built-in storage that's no problem. This tiny house has a lot of different possibilities for storage.

I see alot of comments about to small. What exactly do people think the tiny house movement means? If your looking for a tiny house for a single person this one is perfect. A couple maybe? Depends how close y'all are.....lol. And if people consistently ask for BIGGER TINY HOUSES then the whole point of tiny houses are just not going to exist anymore

You can put whatever you want under there! Also, if you want the space taller, that could be achieved by having a cabinet above the fridge that isn't as tall. Again, very versatile.

Nice tiny house, but I would prefer a regular refrigerator. Maybe the pull out storage under the other kitchen base cabinets instead of under the small fridge. Otherwise, it's an awesome tiny house.

Please know (as noted in the video) we left many storage options out in this particular tiny house to let the buyer decide what additional storage they would like to add.

LOL, people here saying this and that is too small. The whole point of getting a tiny house is to not own much! It's ideal for minimalists like me! I'd plop down cash for one ... but, the issue is land. Where the heck to put the darn thing?!

You can have it for $57,500 and you know that is bare minimum initial cost. Anypne with a brain knows that it includes nothing but what you see. They didn't mention ventilaion either. Humidity huold up is problem with tiny homes. Havens for mold and mildew.

Seems like there was enough space for a larger fridge. The real problem with the smaller one isn't the fridge its the freezer. You can't fit much in them.

A partition wall can absolutely be added! We are building several now that have partition walls.

I'm not sure if partition walls will prevent smells from entering the "bedroom" area. Very good ventilation will solve this issue.

My question is whether you feel a lot of movement inside the tiny house, which is an issue with a lot of RV type homes. I know someone who would be interested in a tiny home, but she's more interested in a foundation built tiny home because of the movement like you get in an RV that bothers her.

Lots of options. You can build various types of simple foundations around the home and remove them if you want to move in the future

Just out of curiosity, why is the price 57,500...but the other was 52,500? Why the 5k difference?

This tiny house uses quite a few more expensive materials such as LP smart siding, lap siding interior and pine tongue and groove. It also takes more time to custom paint cabinets and quite a few other things that added to the price. I hope this helps!

Tiny House Listings is the biggest crap organization I've ever seen. Their broker, who is "highly rated" told me my tiny house was not a good fit for them. It is move-in ready, loaded with great features. I have no idea what Tiny House Network does, but its helpful index is clearly at zero!
