'24 Civic Type R Dealer Prep Cleanup

Congrats on getting your CTR. I got mine (also for MSRP, also blue) about 6 weeks ago. It had been on their showroom floor for 3 months so had plenty of scratches. Spent about 15 hours on a 2 stage paint correction before installing PPF.

Nice - big congrats there! 3 months def helps persuade them to cut it loose at MSRP. 15 hours is crazy but can imagine how many times folks sat in and got out of that drivers seat unless dealer locked it hopefully. I found getting in and out I use my left arm to support myself on the plastic door sill so the bolsters don’t get worn out.

I got a 2024 Integra Type S instead of of a CTR I just liked the Integra better

I would be worried about putting tape over dirt and then peeling it off finger nails?

There’s a Honda dealer I went to in the past month, had a brand new white FL5 with no markups on the showroom floor, in Asheboro, NC. Doubt it’s still there though
