I remember when Cavalier cigarettes sponsored “I’ve Got A Secret “ and when Winston was introduced Cavalier just vanished. All the panelists smoked and are now dead.

I don't smoke and never have. But I Ioved the Silva Thins commercials. I thought the guy with the dark glasses and the turtleneck was the coolest dude ever.

I remember Lucky Strike ad was an auctioneer walking down a line of tobacco and blabbering “Sold American “! I have never smoked and never intended to.

Raleigh was a cigarette that had coupons on the pack that you could save and redeem like trading stamps. I wonder if you could redeem them for a lung cancer surgery. There was a cartoon that sponsored by Winston. The Flintstones. 😮

x I remember when some people would call Parliament "P-Funks" x I remember Lucky Strike, those are probably the unfiltered cigarettes that I smoked most. x I bought L & M Lights in Europe as my Go-to. o I would often buy them from the vending machine! x One of my friends smoked Pall-Mall. x I don't smoke anymore, but when I did Camel Lights was my go-to. o If the store was out of those, I would ask for either Marlboro Lights or Camel Turkish Lights.

I started on Lucky Strike when I was 12 and smoked Winstons for 20 years, until about 1982 when they changed the blend into something awful. Then for 12 years I switched to Pall Mall and Phillip Morris Commander. Then I quit smoking and got fat. I gained 140 pounds overnight. I struggled with diets and exercise but contrary to popular belief, they don't work. Biggest mistake I ever made, was to quit smoking. It kept my weight down
