Evening all! Tonight it’s the fourth instalment from the trip to Atlanta. That burrito almost finished me off, but after a few days sipping green tea and reflecting on the triumph, I thought we’d have a bit of craick with an old fashioned full day of scoffing video… I hope you enjoy it and I’d love you to join me again this Thursday at 7pm UK time for a challenge that has been failed 70 times! ’Til then, stay insatiable :)

Beard, I would recommend you ask what items are best, or how they would prepare it so you get more of the experience. Many places like bojangles expect you to get a sauce or honey with your biscuit (I recommend mixing hot sauce and honey together) so it's not dry. May help get a more authentic experience and be more enjoyable for you.

Thanks for the tour and the old school content. 1. Knew when you said chains Waffle House would be there, and you led off with it. 3. Hardees on the east coast is the same chain as Carl's Jr. on the west. Carl's bought them in 1997 but kept the name basically because they wanted the brand recognition. 4a. The "Wisconsin melt" is your basic "patty melt," just branded. 4b. More suspicion to camera than gun: Welcome to America, especially the South. It's very much ingrained in our culture (guns). 6. You absolutely nailed the Southern accent. 11/10, would listen to again. 7. You kept eating the corn dog after the food poisoning thought? Wouldn't have myself, but I can see an attitude of "not letting it go to waste." 9. Dairy Queens being "ghetto" is pretty much universal I've found. 10. Another spot on comment (Red Lobster being the seafood version of TGI Friday's).

i have a genuine question from a Brit here. How does one get to Waffle House or Krystal's when they're a little drunk? It seems like in America you have to drive everywhere, and that's not really possible if you've been drinking
@danielmantell87512 жыл бұрын
@@5vxz Not in the South it isn't. You just need some Jesus and practice. Drinking and driving has been the hobby of many Americans since cars first came about; it's tradition. That was like... 60% joking. Nowadays you can get a uber in most places, but there is a significant amount of drinking and driving (drinking then driving to be more accurate). Generally it'll be what Americans refer to as 'buzzed' driving, which is drunk driving with an attempt to sober up beforehand (to mixed effect).
