23:10 , pagoda is common in all south east asian countries... Where buddhism is present..it usually serves as a religious place for buddhists.. pagoda finds its origin from "stupa" , a structure mainly found in india which makes sense as buddhism also originated in india... The oldest stupa still standing is "sanchi stupa" which was built in 3rd century BC. The oldest stupa ever built cannot be completely concluded as many stupas were destroyed when foreign powers invaded india....
