Use to be a forno chef at Joeys for a year, fantastic food is put out of that kitchen and the workers treat that establishment like it's their own. Hayden block beans are unmatched.

That is so cool to know about Joey’s. When the workers think of the restaurant as their own it really shows. And YES to Hayden Block’s beans! As a southerner I can’t believe I’m saying this, but the best baked beans I’ve ever had are from Hayden Block in Canada. Absolutely incredible

Next time you are in Calgary, you will need to try our newest burger spot, Class Clown Burgers. It is the best burger I have had and Alberta beef is always a must! As for Hayden Block, it's our little secret spot after 10 PM as all the meat is half priced, perfect for after sporting events.

Noble Pie is also one to consider for a pizza date spot as it's a hidden game.

These are fantastic recommendations-thank you so much! We really fell in love with Calgary while we were there and definitely want to go back. I think alot of travelers look past Calgary on their way to Banff, but it’s such a cool, pretty city with some great restaurants. We are adding these places to our list for next time. Thank you!!!

You had me at donuts and coffee! What a cool thing to sky walk. Love a dough donut over a cake donut. Love Asian inspired food. Yum. Texas bbq in Canada wow. I bet the drinks were top notch. You guys found some great options! And Marriott bar looked great. 🎉wow guys. Well done.

We really couldn’t believe how good the food was in Calgary. Those donuts blew us away (and what better way to start your day than eating way too many doughy donuts?). We are so happy you enjoyed it!

It was so good! There aren’t many great BBQ spots that also serve elevated craft cocktails (at least in our experience), so we were blown away. We hope you get to go!

Fully agreed!!! We don’t often stay in airport hotels but this one was really nice. We could have sat by the window watching planes take off all day 🛫
