Fleur I know many people tell you this every day but I just felt the need to say that you are just the loveliest person. You're so professional getting your work done and uploading vlogs every day even though you probably have other things to worry about at the moment. You're so brave and honestly life is so unfair sometimes, you don't deserve this. So glad to hear that it looks like little Treakie is going to be alright - she has been on my mind almost constantly. Definitely heard of the old shower trick, never had a chance to use it as I find the hair straightener works the best when you're strapped for time :)

It's too late now but for future reference if you're going somewhere nice and your shirt/skirt/dress is wrinkled try to find a public bathroom with the electric hand dryers. Splash a little water on the clothing then stretch it out and hold it under the hand dryer. I've done that in a pinch and helped release some of the wrinkles

A hair dryer is a good iron substitute. Pull fabric smooth, aim blow dryer at it and hold for a few seconds.

I live here and I've never thought about the flower shops in the street as something special, but now I have the biggest urge to run down and get some :-) also had a minor freak-out as I worked all summer in the exact shop you were looking at magnets - oh the time I spent arranging those magnets... Here in the US we have this great stuff called Downy Wrinkle Release that helps with taking wrinkles out of clothes. It helps especially when there is no iron around or to help freshen up clothes when travelling. Hope you had a great US visit. I am behind on videos. Best wishes.

So annoying when there's no iron. Did you check at reception? Otherwise an alternative I always use is to dampen it with water and then use the hairdryer on it (from a distance, not on the fabric). Not as good as an actual iron but it definitely helps!
