Monaco can accommodate up to around 290 boats. During the Monaco boat show. they had a maximum of 125 super yachts. Your video went live the weekend of the Monaco Grand Prix but I'm guessing you were there before the build up and super yachts from around the world heading into the harbour, where Formula 1 push the capacity to a much higher number for about a week. My answer therefore is 125.

I've been lucky enough to visit Monaco. Sadly not on F1 day but it is an amazing place! Definitely for the super rich but its nice to visit and see how the other half live! Loving these series of video's along France's soth coast as it brings back many happy memories! Enjoy your travels!!

when we stayed in Nice, we asked our uber driver to drive us to Monaco. He initially refused because Uber is absolutely not allowed in Monaco. He eventually drove us there but he was very nervous being in Monaco. The casino was fabulous, I thought it would be bigger, but very opulent none the less. Fabulous shopping mall at the casino as well. Great trip and would love to visit again. Nice video.

If I were to live there I also would live just outside of Monaco. Even outside of Monaco borders the scenery and the culture is magnificent. It's a win win either way. In 1979 our ship pull in for liberty near Monaco. When I went ashore I decided I wanted to visit a nice restaurant and casino. Broke out my good slacks, my good shirt, tie and navy blue sports coat. I had a great time.

Hi guys ! Beautiful video as usual. I love how everywhere you go, you embrace local culture, local beauty and share your experience with us. Thanks for sharing such passion !!!! Years ago (as in many), coming from Bonifacio we went to Tavolara with a 32 ft saiboat, at that time, supposedly it was still a mil subs base. We did manage to deceive surveillance to get close, drop anchor 30 m from the rocky shore and jumped in water, but the whole party lasted 5 min tops, before mil patrol boat rushed on us and send us flying real fast 🚀😎 Corsica and arcipelago di La Maddalena, both have great spots for small sailboats with tiny draught and tiny overall weight ... 1.3 m draught or less. Some of these spots are so shallow, you can (have to) literally walk your boat inside small creeks and enjoy some great nights places. By the next day, you may had to angle your boat to get out of the sand, hence overall weight has to be manageable to angle it. At that time, Spiaggia Rosa in Budelli island was still open, obviously spent some hours on the beach. In general, people that live in Monaco, during the day, tend to wear shorts and t shirts. It's mainly the tourists that come here that are dressed up during the day. I, for one, am rarely out of my shorts, t-shirt and flip flops, but occasionally dress up in the evening if I'm going somewhere. Worth mentioning that camper vans are banned from entering Monaco, and in theory, satellite dishes, Skype or similar messaging services are banned, to protect the monopoly of Monaco Telecom, but, of course, everybody ignores the ban. To obtain residency in Monaco, one must be seen to live there full time for at least 6 months of the year. There are random checks done by the authorities.

After working a season in Switzerland Prince Rainier and family dined at the small Hotel I worked in Switzerland and my then boss gave the 'kids' ski lessons. David Niven also dined there. Had an offer of a job in Monaco in the seventies, but didn't take it. Happy in OZ.

A tip from someone who has been to Monaco there are so many hotels in Monaco and around in Beausoliel, Cap-d'Ail, Menton, Roquebrune- Cap-Martin. The first time I went to Monaco we stayed at Novotel Monte-Carlo Hotel it is an Accor hotel which means points for those with Accor accounts and Air France accounts.In addition, it is in a great location 5 minutes walk from the Casino square 3 minutes walk to the closest pharmacy and surrounded by cafe's and restaurants such as as Cooks (an Italian restaurant 30 seconds walk away from the Novotel Hotel). Finally Novotel is a great hotel in regards to location because if you got to train into Monaco it is not a long journey Novotel is across the road literally opposite one of the entrances to the train station!

There are, obviously, some very expensive properties and rents in Monaco, but it is possible to find apartments that charge affordable rent, and general day to day living cost in Monaco such as utility bills, food shopping in the supermarket are the same as in France.

It's not a tax haven here to the degree that Monaco has to be transparent in respect of sharing tax information with other countries, but people move here due to certain taxes, such as income tax, capital gains, investment taxes etc. not being levied. One has to be an official resident here to take advantage of the lack of certain taxes, it doesn't apply to foreign workers that just come to Monaco each day to work.

Fantastic episode as usual, Monaco would be easier to get into if you sold a child. I also think that Monaco is stunning but a little overrated. Hard to pick my favourite but it would be the less travelled/remote places. I reckon there would be 220 superyachts moored but more than a 1000 registered in Monaco. @talentekhuzwayo It's because of the Casino that Monaco has various zero taxes. It has to be said though, that the Monegasque are not the one's with the money. The majority of Monegasque are not wealthy. It's worth mentioning, that because of the casino, Monaco is what it is today. It was formed in the 19th century to save the ruling family (the Grimaldi's) from going bankrupt. But you are correct, gambling is ridiculous, I have very rarely seen anyone win big in the casino, but have seen an awful lot of money being lost.
