Many foreigners seem to think that Nice is just a « seaside » , a sort of resort beach town made for tourists. In fact, Nice is a big city, actually the amont the top five of the biggest cities of France. It is also one of the oldest french cities, dating back to Greek times 2600 years ago

as much as I love our sand here in Aus, sand at beaches like Cala Boadella in Lloret de Mar, Spain - had to be the most convenient, especially for a clothing optional beach. If pebbles were all about 2-3mm diameter beads. It's not as nice to walk on as the fine powder from Balmoral - but it doesn't stick to you and anything that does, just drops off as soon as you move. No grit.

Hi we love your show. Cannes is the most Beautiful city in the French Riviera. wait till you see it. We have seen all the French Riviera cities and towns. Cannes combines Rich with High Class at the same time you can go to Carrefour supermarket in Cannes city center and fill your Boat with 750g tin of Spinach or backed beans for only 1.50 euro !!!. and other Pastries. We did not spend any money on restaurants we bought cooked food and eat it in our hotel. But when you walk the Beach la croisette, in Cannes you will have meters between the Silk sandy beach and the High Class designer shops. Go to Cannes and enjoy it. Oh not to forget that the Best Yachts we saw in Cannes and not Monaco or Nice.
