I have personal experience of illness and oh my gosh I was off my horse for so much longer than I thought (2 years in total!) and it was horrendous but I'm now cantering around fields with a massive smile on my face. So this is just to say to hang in there and things will get better x

Really liked your vlog- I think it’s nice to feel like your actually “friends” and coming along a day like that is fun! Also I think you are doing way better than you give yourself credit for! Definitely consider doing some ROR showing with ember. Nothing stopping you doing in hand stuff? Recently tried this and was a lot more fun than I ever thought it would be!

Don't you just love whippets? Try having 20 of them all deciding whether it's to their advantage to sit on command or not, whether it suits them to recall or continue chasing the hare. Whippets never do anything 'for you', its always them😂. Including the bed, lounge etc. I had a bitch who had extremely mobile feet and opened gates (problem when in season), cupboard doors, hence all food in cans lower down. Funniest thing she did was open the oven and eat my now ex husband's dinner! 😂😂. Love them though.❤ Ps hate the thin skin that tears easily. Never see a whippet without scars.

This was sort of sad in one way and happy in another Lucy. Sad that you and Felix split and you have to move. And happy that your changing your life for the better. I m pretty sure everything happens for a reason and that will be to better things in your life. Worked for me so it’ll work for you too. I’m sorry you can’t ride still but you have to let your body get back to 💯% or you’ll go backwards that you don’t want. LUCY, about your tummy, LEGS UP THE WALL, for up to .20 MINUETS really helps, lye on the bed or floor with your legs up ,somthing to support the small of your back, my mum has your tummy condition, and IT REALLY HELPS.

Don’t worry about getting a house. I was in my late 30s before I got my first place. I had the same surgery, but for my gall bladder. I was home the next day and back at work in a week, but it took about 6 months to regain my full strength and stamina. Wish I could have rested longer before working again, but, being self-employed (sign language interpreter) didn’t allow for that. (Also no Internet at that time, so no blog/vlog/reels/etc.!) Don’t rush it. Not worth the risk of further injury or illness. Take care❣️😸

I used to live near Bosham in Chichester (it's bozzum, though, rather than boss-ham). Definitely a nice area around there! Ember is looking so fit - hope you can get going with him again soon and your insides co-operate!

Here near Toronto we also have deer flys and they are vicious. We also have horse flys and they are horrific creatures the size of bumble bees. When they bite it feels as if you've been stabbed. The horse just goes wild and will spend the rest of summer expecting to be bitten like that again. I wish you the best and know that although changes can be somewhat stressful they are usually beneficial for us in the long run.

Lucy , heads up, if you are feeding raw and dried you would need to leave 4hrs between to get the benefit of the raw. I learned this from our old vet who was always promoting raw feeding 👍. Enjoyed the vlog Xx

You shouldn't feed raw with kibble , both digest at different rates , both hold different bacteria, not a good combo , raw only is all a dog needs as this is species appropriate, kibble is basically a convenience for the owner , just abit of helpful advice from a canine nutritionalist 😉👍🩷
