Do not search on KZbin, look at credible sources. See safecast.org for non-government crowdsourced radiation readings. Sendai area is lower than most of the US, and way lower than a place like Hong Kong. There is also radiation tests for food done by the co-ops and prefectural government. Matsushima is great and is worth the trip back. Stay overnight at enjoy sunrise over the bay.

We had to walk for an hour or so to the nearest supermarket for food and on occasion we would wander out to and find some local restaurants/cafes. And don't forget the discount priced food at the luxury food court in department store Mitsukoshi. And the Aeon department stores often have a to-go food departments that have great offerings at very reasonable prices. If you're stuck out late or need a snack, the Lawson, 7-11, or Family convenience stores offer excellent coffee, sandwiches, sushi, bakery goods that are very good, unlike American convenience stores, which you would only consume if you were starving, and maybe, not even then!😜

The music at the beginning is Siesta by Nicao. Heard it before in a cinema ad and took me forever to find the title.

Greetings Fortress Phuket!! I have been watching your show for years I'm surprised I have never come commented, it's my favourite show on KZbin. I particularly love this episode as soon as this nightmare that we all living in right now is over I fully intend to come and see Sendai!

The Japan Tourist Board must be melting all over this vid. I've never considered visiting Sendai, but will now. Wagyu beef is deliquescent.
