Another great video, Chad and Claire. Except for one misplaced word at the beginning (look up what infamous means), this is another example of the personal professionalism (and fun) you share with us. Peace! Steve and Janes

You guys are crushing it and doing Italy right! Thats a rad major Claire, sounds uniquely fascinating. Marlon majored in geography and, the gallery of maps was so impressive and the art on the ceiling...oh mamma mia so stunning! And definitely gotta have the gelato for dessert can't wait to watch the Amalfi series! Again, well done as always!

If your're still in Rome; firstly, try to walk down the hill from the Garibaldi horse statue and down into Trastevere. Secondly, try the gelato at Giolitti's (the oldest gelato bar in Rome)

BIG mistake Chad and Claire by not visiting Saint Peter’s Basilica!!! The line may be long but it moves *very* quickly. One of Michelangelo’s most famous works is inside - the Pietà (the Pity) - it almost brings tears to my eyes! Plus it’s free to visit.

Yeah. Last week there was a publicity stunt so they amped up security. We were told we wouldn't have made it inside. Just another reason to return! Sad we missed it!

There's actually a lot more here. I wish you guys had more time here. The library of the vatican has so many books and manuscripts that most of them haven't even been seen by historians

We went to Vatican City in 2019 when we were in Italy, and even mailed ourselves a postcard from there. 😃Only thing we didn't get to do while we were there was go inside St. Peter's Basilica. Unfortunately, it was closed that day. It's all good, a reason to go back! 🤣 I second getting set time tickets for the Vatican Museums. We had to wait outside maybe five minutes before going through security. Meanwhile, the line for those waiting for tickets went all the way down the outside wall and around the corner. Most people were leaning against the railing or sitting on the sidewalk. They let people in as others go out. Can you imagine waiting three or four hours and MAYBE you might not even get in? Not worth it. Get a skip-the-line or timed entry ticket...

We didn't know that the Vatican City was a country 😱

Just like Washington DC is not technically inside any state, they don't want people passing laws and telling them what to do.

Pennsylvannia started passing laws that would put pressure on the capital of the USA in philadelphia, so they moved the capital outside the states... of the united states

So by 24 hours you mean 3 or 4 hours? Hahaha. When I read the title, I thought to myself, are they going to try and sleep in Vatican City?!..there's nothing there. 😂 Also, people who don't share food are weird. Food for me is the best part of travel..and I always want to try as many dishes as possible. Definitely not possible if you travel with someone who is awkward about sharing!
