An empty Comfort fabric softener bottle makes for a good portable toilet as the neck is wide enough to access without risking spillage. Plus, the nice smell masks the odour of the waste too. Handy tip for when you’re cramped up in the Z4 next month ;)

I agree 100% that this thing drives like a dream, took my 760Li for a drive today and it’s just unbelivable. For a big battleship it’s very nible and the Dynamic Drive makes it feel like its 1500kg car when its more like 2250. I do think my black interior looks better than the tan, specially the alcantara headliner

9:15, the best way to sleep would be to be in the front seat and just put that all the way down. very very very comfortable in a 7 series. Edit: nevermind see you figured that out. what you can do to make it more comfortable is put a couple of thin pillows in strategic positions. If you really want to kill it though you need to get access to the booth somehow to lie flat properly. I sleep in my tesla all the time on long roadtrips (i live outside europe now) and its very comfortable. I usually put a thin matress in the back extending into the booth but I have also slept in the front seat before. A/C running all night thanks to being electric. I think even in the UK if you do a long trip some south coast to Scotland could be doable if you i.e. leave in the afternoon.

For the past few years I’ve gone to watch the 24 hour race at Silverstone with some friends and we all slept track side in our cars. It was fine to be honest apart from the sound of the cars accelerating down the Wellington straight every few seconds. All part of the experience. I slept in a Saab 93. Aside from perhaps being a touch cramped up, it wasn’t half as bad as I was expecting.

I had a V12 LWB in black, I bought it new in February 2007 sold it in 2010. I will admit I always wondered what it would be like to sleep in. Not as bad as I thought as it prevailed 😂. Very good video, I do regret selling it btw.

My E39 Touring was my home for 3 days whiles at the euro finals at Santa Pod. Mates had their tents. Not much in the way of creature comforts. Me on the otherhand. Blinds up, makeshift curtains using seat covers and towels. 15 tog duvet, my favroite extra firm pillows, blow up mattress, two laptops, horror movies, Beer's and enought space for my late night Kebab. Car has double glazing, lovely beige interior and was a pleasent place to be. Miles better then a tent. If I was to have one criticism, It was a lack of cover for the windscreen, meaning non. I didnt have anything to use. That meant getting changed very difficult. On balance, since the car has a factory fitted towbar, I would consider a caravan.
