Hi guys , Crossing the Equator Ceremony, Kiss the Fish 🤣🤣🤣🤣 7:29 It wasn’t until day 14, 15 or 16 that I had the stir fry. Waiting in-line to get it made some folks raved about it. After eating it , it was nothing special,, I make better at home. But as you said you can get some food made right infront of you at the buffet. 10:52 Cough , cough, that familiar sound all over the ship. 90% of the passengers on board experienced some sort covid symptoms. It happened to me and my wife. When we got off in Sydney , we did RAT Tests , wife tested positive. I’m dead set sure i got covid mid way through the cruise. 12:17 Spectra Cabaret , we enjoyed the show but made no sense what so ever 🤣🤣 We went to every show in Royal Theatre, hats off to RCCL for getting so many entertainers to perform every night ! @RodSwansmad Due to a particular health matter we carry RATs and test VERY regularly. It's a shame people don't take more care with Hygiene/coughs etc, but from our perspective more so when people seem to have forgotten that some people travel with underlying health issues snd are too quick to judge what condition they may have. With that said we move on and take care of ourselves. Matt loved the stir-fry but he was very specific in his ask, plenty of chilli, garlic, Kecap Manis, and both meats. You're not wrong about the shows and entertainment. Absolutely amazing quality. Gemma, the cruise director and team, did an amazing job.

Being a solo cruiser, the issue I had with the Windjammer was finding a seat at breakfast or lunch. Ended up in 270 and restaurants. Bernie in Sydney

I will have to try one of their stir fry dishes and I will have to have one of their omelettes which I did on Brilliance absolutely yum and also I love Indian food I always have one every cruise no matter which ship I am on. I got Chops Grille booked for lunch onboard when I am on in 20 days now woohoo 🥳🥳🥳 I can't wait so much to experience this ship

New Subscriber here, we are sailing on ovation in Feb to NZ two quick questions if I may. 1) are they doing one night where you can get the Maine lobster at no cost in the MDR? 2) are they still giving out the cups for the dispensers if you have the drinks package. Great video’s keen for the rest of the trip. Hope you enjoy Papeete today

We have enquired tonight about the Lobster night, unfortunately Maine Lobster is a paid addition for the MDR menu.. We can confirm, the "special" cups are still given out for refreshments, soda and deluxe drink packages.

Yes I was on it 2 months ago and they do still give you the royal Caribbean cups if you have a drinking package

You mentioned in a previous vlog there was an issue with the cabin storage, will we hear more about that soon? Cabin tour?

Yes certainly. We will do that in the Main cabin tour. We have been concentrating on the daily vlogs, for the first segment, we will probably drop the cabin tour in the next few days while we have some port visits. The main issue was compared to previous ocean view balcony cabins there were two cabinets missing. We explain in more details in the cabin tour.

Can you tell me if you are using the royal app to communicate eith your son or do you just meet places at set times? We are travelling on ovation fir xmas this year with our teens.

Hi, we have the internet package so we can communicate with Noah through what's app but you can just organise to meet at certain times which I've done before

Once teens are 13 the Royal app allows for teens to create an account so you can use the free wifi for communicating through the app, but until then when using whatsapp or kids messenger you need an internet package.

We're loving following your journey from Hawaii to Australia! We'll be boarding when you disembark in Sydney! We've been on Quantum earlier this year and looking forward to Ovation!

We love Quantum. She has been home porting in Brisbane and we have been on her a few times. Ovation is very similar. They are sister ships. A few minor differences but overall much the same. We are glad you are enjoying the videos.
