Christie, I am so very sorry for your loss. I cannot imagine what you have gone through. However, I can relate to the solice you have found in this channel. It is so interesting, the things that we find comfort in. During the pandemic and health issues, that have brought about some very deep depression, over the last few years; I have found an escape in a handful of very special travel and adventure channels, including this one. I also love: Gone With The Wynns, Simple Living Alaska, Sailing Zatara and Sailing Uma. Maybe one or two of those will intestinal you, as well. I hope you are able to heal your heart, enough to truly, continue to find joy in this life and maybe new adventures of your own. Sincerely, Jessica from Florida.

I surely can tell you that I'm going to check out some of those channels you suggested but I don't have a lot of time being a single mom but one of the channels I followed for the very beginning is Karen Nate in their story their life is like a fairy tale right out of a book almost like the same way I feel about my own life and I know everything happens for a reason me finding comfort and so I'll listen watching them and looking forward to their adventures that take me away from my reality just for a short time and reading other people's comments who can relate and share love to one another you're truly not alone and we all bleed the same ❤️

No they really don’t! They’re bragging about being ‘hashtag Gifted’ a trip worth 30 GRAND to an audience whom 99% of will likely never be able to achieve. What on earth is humble about that? This is supposed to be a channel about the realities of travelling. Realities. Not going on 30k luxury trips, that’s not a reality for all but a very small number of people - those for whom it is a reality, are most likely not living their entire lives on the road. There’s no correlation with what the synopsis of this channel actually is. It’s just grabby & braggy.

Agreed. K and N are very down to earth, grounded people. There are others I can name, ( I won't), who are distinctly up themselves. Also Kara is honest. She says here that the food, the final breakfast excepted, was very good, but not exceptional. She is a more well travelled lady, who knows what she's talking about, without showing off. Again, unlike many KZbinr "travellers", especially some who only do luxury 5 star travel. Kara and Nate might be roughing it, sleeping on the ground one night, then travelling in 5 star luxury on another, taking it in their stride, all the while.

Years ago, when my wife and I had been married about as long as Kara and Nate in this video, I was on a business trip with two of my colleagues and our respective wives. My boss promised us that a ride on the Orient Express from Munich to Paris would be the high point of our three-weeks of customer visits in Munich, Hanover, Paris, and London. We did not stay in THAT car, however. :) The lights didn't work (just a glimmer when you held the starter button, so in the morning we took turns getting dressed and holding the button), and the butler brought us orange juice at 2 am instead of the requested 6 am. No queen bed, just the usual upper and lower bunks. It was fun anyway, with the three ladies meeting us at the station in hats styled after "Murder on the Orient Express."

3:33 - FYI Kara, Caviar tins are made of stainless steel and gold plated inside so it doesn't affect the taste and keeps it fresh as well as being vacuum sealed so oxygen can't oxidize the metal.

Happy anniversary! I don’t even feel jealousy as I watch you guys enjoying something this luxurious - you deserve it!!!! 👍. Particularly considering all the, shall we say, ‘challenging’ things you go through for this channel! ❤️ I love your videos. 😊

I love the video, but I especially love the filming style! The romantic old-timey music with the train just takes you back in time and makes you feel like you are in some almost 100 years ago luxurious past! I love this video's style! Keep it up!!! Also, I have been watching you guys since you had around 0.5 million subscribers and have watched every single video that you guys have uploaded for years (too long to count). I absolutely love traveling and am hoping to study abroad in college and go everywhere that I can! I reference you guys all of the time to my family lol. You guys give me so many travel ideas and places to put on my bucket list...love from northwestern Tennessee 🤍

I laughed at how difficult it was to just turn off all the lights in the room. I thought the VSOE would have a button that turns everything off at once.
