We're Eamon and Bec, a Canadian couple who previously lived and traveled full-time in our self converted Sprinter Van!! When the pandemic hit in 2020 we made the difficult decision to abandon our van in Africa and fly home to Canada. We ended up living at a cabin in the Canadian wilderness! And after nearly 1 year of cabin renovations, we've flown back to North Africa to continue van life and the journey around the world!
This week we are ditching our van and are attempting to summit North Africa's HIGHEST peak!!! To make the adventure a little more fun we called our pal Nate (from Kara & Nate) to join us!

Hey guys, just a heads up - today Morocco anounced that all international flights to/from the country would stop for initially two weeks re covid - remember last time how that went on and on - so, u might want to check out how the ferry situation is and how it might develope if u r not planning a prolonged stay there. European countries are also going crazy with fear of the new Omicron covid variant and starting to close down in various ways.

I summited Toubkal in winter a few years back and did it as an ice climb :D We didn't go with guides, but I stayed at the refuge with friends for about a week climbing different winter routes, it was great fun! I just finished binging the channel picking up from when you were here in San Diego where I live up to today. Tremendous content guys, thank you! My family summers on the New York side of the St Lawrence River. You are welcome to join my family for a Thousand Islands tour from the US perspective 2nd or 3rd weeks of August if you are back in Ontario that time of year. I was thinking how these extreme challenges are something which reminds me of Kara and Nate and 1 minute in I see Nate xD I love it ❤ Update 1/n: 5 minutes in and Nate's leaving alone :( That's a little disheartening but watching Eamon for 2 years, I am pretty sure it was something he would have never wanted. Hope he gets better as the video goes on. Will keep on updating. Update 2/n: 10 minutes in and the energy levels are off the roofs. These travel and hiking days bring back so many memories of pre-pandemic fun and travel of Eamon and Bec. Glad things are getting back to normal and it's good to see the "real" Eamon 😍🤩 Update 3/n: The last 5 minutes have been so breathtaking. Mohammed is a gem 💎 Also, these pit stops and refuge reminds so much of the trek to the Everest base camp. What a journey so far! Update 4/4: I can't wash off the grin from my face. The squads way back down was a real surprise and couldn't get any better than that. Would have loved to see you both take the aerial route as well :p Mohammed's mom cooking dinner was the perfect cherry on the cake. Final: This was like a short movie and I really think that you guys are outdoing yourself with the editing and the storyline. I was wondering...as vegans what do you do when you no control over the food ingredients? I mean, you certainly needed the calories after that long ascent on the first day. But watching the soup being ladled out, I was wondering how you handled that? (Vegetarian myself and that's hard enough...vegan is another whole level of difficulty!)

The soup being served at the overnight stay looked like lentil soup, usually served with a squeeze of lemon, super yum and vegan.

I thought that were vegan too, but wearing merino wool and mentioning it made me a little confused. So maybe they are not vegan?

@@aurora-rose I am confused about that in a different way. I understand not using leather, as it requires the death of the animal to process it. But wool is ... regenerative, I guess you could say? Obviously, making sure the wool is ethically sourced is vital. I wonder if many vegetarians/vegans avoid it because it is so difficult to accurately determine if wool is ethically sourced?
