Asking for signs from passed loved ones and guides is a great way to recognize their presence. Just know that they don’t always come the way you expect ie a live owl sometimes it’s a billboard, a shirt, a song lyric, a statue so keep your eyes and ears open for all possibilities 🌹

I’m not one to rely heavily on signs, but my family has witnessed a bunch of sweet moments with blue jays. Before my grandmother, who I never met, passed away, she always said she’d become a blue jay and grandpa would follow. My parents and I cared for grandpa until he passed on to join grandma. Throughout the years at big, important moments, one and now two blue jays would appear. They were there when my sister was diagnosed with cancer, grandma often sat with her in the backyard, and both were there to celebrate when she went into remission and conquered a heart transplant. When my parents moved across the country, they settled in at their house in the farmlands. They even attended my wedding. It’s a sweet family sign to have blue jays come around. I’m glad to see you saw your owl - especially since it was in a crazier way than expected!

Our favorite saying was always " I love you to the moon and back" so now every time I see that Quote I know it's from her. The last time I saw her she said, that's how I would know it was her, and that was the last thing she said to me. To me, I think that when our body dies our energy moves along as energy can't die. Thank you for sharing you grief so graciously. Losing someone to suicide during this pandemic is brutal. I lost my mother last May. Grief has its own stigma and its own silence. On top of heavy emotions it brings, it adds another layer of misunderstanding, isolation, confusion, and growing pains in the transition. I just want to say it sucks. It really does and please know you are doing your best. I also speak up for you and for all of us trying to survive losing beautiful people while trying to find beauty in the world. Speaking to this and the isolation of grief is so important, thank you for speaking and showing up. You are not alone, you are seen, and you are held in the space you are in. Something that helped me was a quote I got during another heavy transition period in my life from a therapist "you are not responsible for others reactions or actions. However, you are responsible for finding your healing." I hope you guys are finding ways to find your healing and find those beautiful moments of gratitude that come with the searing grief. The signs of her will come in beautiful, hilariously random, and shattering ways. Let them shatter you and fill you with her spirit. It is beautifully brutal. It is all so beautifully brutal. Much love and solidarity

Oh man, I just lost my younger brother to armed robbery this January, he was only 19. Grief sucks, but it's how we express love after loss. He always was really good at spotting owls and hawks while on roadtrips, and today I was biking and I passed a hawk on the side of the path, like literally two feet away from me. I like to believe he sent that to me, since last night I had a larger wave of grief than I have in awhile, and he knew I needed him. I am so sorry to hear about your guys' loss, and I am so sorry to hear it was suicide, that is especially hard on those left behind. I am inspired by you guys, making the most of life and not being afraid to talk about your harsh reality you now live in. I wish you guys the best.

I don't comment often on KZbin but I have to share this time. I watched your video on Sunday, obviously, as I always do (long time follower!). I recently bought a cabin in the woods as well and drove up there Monday to spend a couple of days sorting out some logistics before having visitors this weekend. I am planning to get some trees removed so I was walking the property at dusk, looking at the grounds, etc. All of a sudden, as I look up at the trees, I see what looks like a hawk flying over me. Turns out it was not a hawk, but an owl. I honestly dont know if I have ever seen an owl in the wild. I have wandered my property many times and have never seen an owl there. Lee's passing hit me very hard, as I know many others who watched her channel (and yours) feel the same, and I still think about her all the time. In fact, the day I found out about Lee's passing was the day I closed on my cabin. It was such a special moment seeing the owl perched high up in the trees. Not to mention my cabin has a loft that I was thinking of naming "the perch" but I wasn't sure if it fit the vibe. Owl perch it is. Thank you for continuing to share your life with us. Sending so much love. See you Sunday ❤️

You two or three are the Bomb. I have not had the pleasure to physically meet any of you. But truly feel a kindred Spirit. Lea touched my life in a special way as I was looking to her wisdom with the new Vlog to help with my own journey with depression, which is challenging. But I know there are other reasons for these feelings. As Empathic beings we tend to get caught up in others energies and the caregiver aspect of us looses sight of what we need by putting other people first. It is a dangerous path and difficult for us to navigate as it is not in our nature to think of ourselves first. I have to constantly remind myself of that usually after many hours if beating myself up. Then I am inspired by another kindred Spirit to remind them and think, Duhhhh, so why are you doing that to yourself. I'm going to get wordy here for a minute, so please bear with me. One of my Totem animals is the owl. My father was always called "Hoot" for Hoot Gibson and my mother's name was Alice. So I use to kid about living with Hoot N Al... Lol. Many times they have flown over my head at night with the silence of a breeze and all I feel is a big "whoosh" of wind when they fly right over my head. Eamon, owls are mostly nocturnal and are literally silent in flight. Between that and their keen eyesight is what makes them such successful hunters. So sit out side at night and see if Leà flies by to give you that tingle running down your spine. I'll bet she is just waiting to make you wanna pee...lol Also Bec a girl after my own heart licking the plate, saying she loves gravy. I'm a Kentucky Hillbilly born and raised on gravy of all sorts. My momma always told me she would dip her finger in the gravy and put it in my mouth to wien me off the bottle. My goal is to try a You Tube channel of my own someday. The name I selected is "Biscuits and gravy". Still working on format and content ideas. All I know is that is to be a positive format to offer observations of the world, people and events. Witholding negative judgements, but hopefully sharing humorous insights and questions that make you say, Huuummm? Biscuits and Gravy says it all... Focusing on the simple Bread of life issues and covering it with all the ooie, gooie, goodness that life has to offer. I'll hit ya up when I get it off the ground. Love you both and lots of love to and from Lea. 🥰

I agree with Eamon, when asking for a sign from our beloveds on the other side, be specific. Otherwise it’s too easy to read into things. Bec wears the nose ring better, but I highly suggest you both pass on getting one. Real hassle when you need to blow your nose.
@eamonandbec3 жыл бұрын
💜 ... I'll think we'll both pass on the nose ring... for now 😉
@Kitkatrey3 жыл бұрын
I think you both rocked the nose ring, But I think Bec would be cuter with a little gem on a post. However, the thought of punching a hole through my nose - ewww.

No way! I’ve had mine pierced for almost 8 years and it doesn’t affect blowing your nose at all . GET THE NOSE RINGS

Awwww it was LITERALLY a sign!!! Also Bec you are cute but Eamon looks better with the nose ring- he has the vibes! My vote is to get pierced.

Our loved ones give us more signs than we give them credit for! They show up for us in the weirdest and most unexpected of ways and forms. All we have to do is look and welcome them home. :)

I knew she was going to come in a form of words...when eamon requested an owl, I knew she was not gonna come in an owl form...I was gonna comment that eamon should keep his eyes out for words or radios...gone but never forgotten

When my mother passed away, just before we interned her ashes with my father, an owl visited us in our backyard, he was staring at us before we left the house to take her ashes to the cemetery. Then as we were interning my mom with my dad, an owl was sitting in the tree watching us, he didn’t leave until the vault was sealed back up and my mom was safely back with my father.

I like soapnut berries, they increase skin circulation and by simmering create a wash, can splash on floor. Then rinse with extra water. Keep van floor clean that way by shuffling soap water with feet. (now some cons, they are high maintenance as can create stains on porcelain and so wipe counters more where splashes as biodegrades and not good for indoor showers as ceiling will get microdrops turn to mold.) But if pour over as shampoo, acts like conditioner in one. Good if sick. . .as helps blood pressure vs showers, for wash cloth type clean, easy rinse. which btw gummy organic vitamins good to keep by bed and take 1/3 of daily dose when need. I keep 3 each day in a tiny jar so dont keep eating them instead of food. Helps burnt toast feel that to me is post Covid immune reaction. Best wishes on permits process as know in my world with biological father who lived 40 min away from Surfide condo, engineers are being questioned. Feel has some overwork ties to culture close to Miami, not getting safety upkeep done by building as requires "nursing" attitude in fast reward society, pro tourist retirees. But also many countries have aging concrete buildings hated by residents, so prayers for builders, engineers right now.
