Really awesome video! I find it really funny that by playing Wingspan so often I start to recognize European birds just from the game. Carrion Crow has a blue round end power in the board game if you were wondering 😂

The Grey-headed lapwing is already flying at 4:46 in the video. It is the lowest flying bird.

Amazing!!! You always manage to do this with your videos!! By the way I think I saw the grey headed lapwing in the footage you showed earlier when you were talking about the smaller flocks of lapwing that had split up- but I’m not sure because I’m not nearly as good as you!! It was a couple of shades lighter than the others, and a sharper shape?? Anyway, congrats on the grey headed lapwing and the sandpiper, and I hope you’ll get those water pipits next time/ next year!! Love all that you do xx

Great stuff. You looked freezing! Well done getting the Mega, Lifer. To think, had you gone back for the van, you would have missed it! So you made the right decision! Those water pipits are really playing hard to get. I reckon you will be tripping over them everywhere in January! I don't know how you managed to fit this 24 hour trip into 12 minutes, but my goodness, what a result!
