This is the best version of the remakes I've heard. She understood the feeling the song was meant to invoke. And the fact that they used a children's chorus to sing those lines brings back that Eerie quality you remember from the first time you heard the original version. It's all about the "feels"!!

All I can say is WOW...... This was one of the best if not the best cover of an awesome 80's song that my ears have ever had the pleasure of hearing !!!! Never ceases to amaze me what kids can do better then most adults sometimes and this is one fine example of it . I loved the original song when I first heard it as a child while watching the Lost Boys, but her voice is just so haunting it drags you in and I am finding that I love this version so much better and to add in all these other amazing children or should I say musicians because that is what they are. I found o'keefe coincidentally some days ago in KZbin and was overwhelmed by the quality, that was offered by the (partly) very young musicians. Some offered songs, that left the originals behind them (in terms of musical performance as well as production skills). For this performance of "Cry little sister" - really every time i hear it, it drives me tears of joy in my eyes. Compared to the original, I would give the cover a 10 (of possible ten points) and the original a 7. To better understand me: I'm more a progrock or metal fan. But this performance is so good, that it doesn't leave me untouched.

This is a really good cover. I really like that you kept it simple and played it straight. Most covers of this song are not great...either too over the top, or their own spin on it, changing it up a bit. Less is really more here, which give the synths in particular room to shine, which to me, has always been the core of the song. Same with the lead singer, especially in the last chorus. The vocals blend well with the instruments, instead of overpowering the song. Really well done. I'm 43, I've been a fan of this since its release, and I'm hard to impress these days. This is going in the playlist. Good luck in the future, kids. Keep the music alive.
