You can also hold the Shift key to quickly enter all caps words and release just as you do with the 123 for numbers and special characters

I am not sure how the zoom feature works when keyboard is enabled without doing anything. For me it only works when I double tap with three fingers when my keyboard is open same as you showed in the video. But in your case screen was not when keyboars was closed and automatically switched to zoomed view when keyboard was opened. How to do that? My smart type settings are same as you showed.

@@TechnologyPapersthat would be extremely helpful! One of my biggest issues with iPhones was the lack of long press for symbols on the keyboard. The long press and drag on the ‘123’ button method solves that problem. I’ve watched plenty of “iPhone tips and tricks” videos but this is the only time I’ve seen it even mentioned. Good work! More would be great!

i think it would be more useful to mention that you can use the "look up" feature all across iOS in the places you can highlight a text, you can use it on ipad os and macOS too (on the latter, you can "force click" on words to do it even faster, but i believe only newer models have it, like after 2020)

Download Microsoft SwiftKey in the App Store. Go to settings and enable Number Row.

I don’t think SwiftKey has the always show the number row option any longer. Is there a way to get that on an iPhone?

@@ChaseNFreedom Actually, I discovered what I was doing wrong. It does have that feature. You just have to give the app permission to log EVERYTHING you type including banking info, etc. That is a big price to pay for that one feature. And unfortunately, the hold-down-the-spacebar to move the cursor feature isn't as good as it is with the iOS keyboard. I don't know why Apple can't make that an optional feature. It seems like a really easy thing for them to do.

I mean even early 2000’s phones had number rows and ringtones and videos. I vaguely remember when sprint let you have play back music for a hot second??? I believe that came out. I also tried. Have you enabled the main zoom on top of that screen? If yes after you open keyboard you will have to tap twice with three fingers and it will be exactly same as shown. Doesn't work directly I guess. Or may be we are doing something wrong.

Perhaps , but I think the iPhones keyboard predictive text might be a tad ahead of the galaxy keyboard , but yes the Galaxy does have a lot of customisation, I actually like the high contrast keyboard on the Galaxy , but I still prefer the iPhone keyboard , on the pro max the keys seem a tad bigger easier for someone with largish mitts.
