if n is 0 then nZ is also Prime ideal..so i think the statement would be nZ is prime iff n is either zero or a prime number..

Sir ,I have a doubt. You have taken the example 3.3 and have said 3 does not belong to 2Z. But if we consider 4=2.2 , both a and b lies in A which should become a contraction to our definition which states either a or b belong to p ? Then how come 2Z is prime ideal sir
