Need the right personnel, especially on Defense, its clear they went for giant humans already with the Oline. After watching replays again, k state is fortunate this wasn’t 48-27. They caused 2 pretty uncharacteristic fumbles (to their credit) but both of those drives were moving, especially the drive with roschon’s fumble. I have been extremely critical of Texas’ second half collapsing over the last two years, and this one was no different… but this one could have gotten way out of reach for k state.

Texas has a solid offense of line. but the d line isn't bad either it is the secondary giving up huge throwing plays that should be cover. The defense also needs to work on getting the fumble recovery they forced five fumbles but only recovered one. So the biggest points going into the tcu game is Texas needs to get the secondary under control, they need to win the turnover battle and the offense needs to do stuff in the second half.

Sark is the play caller. Its either he's not making adjustments like he should, or the kids are gassed and need better conditioning. The OC's plan obviously worked given the first half's result. Adjustments by K-State were made at halftime that UT needs to get better at anticipating and finding answers for.

@@bronsonfrench7945 you’re absolutely right. I’ll go further and lay the blame squarely on Sarks shoulders, he’s the problem. He’s never prepared for the opposing team’s adjustments, he just loses his head and watches things crumbling. He then goes in on Ewers for missed opportunities in his press conferences. It’s like he has no concept of Halftime adjustments, because he doesn’t adjust on either side of the ball. He’s not even good at in game adjustments

Bill Snyder was a huge Dallas Cowboys fan so that's actually exactly where the stripes, silver on helmet and pants, and all that come from. Klieman is keeping the Snyder-era uniforms around but they've been pushing to change it by occasionally trying some alternate styles (usually a change to the helmets or pants). Every time this happens tho, they lose (I think they're like 0-6 or 0-7 with alternate unis) and it's largely considered a "curse" by the fanbase to change the uniforms so they pushed back on it. Same deal happened with Ron Prince's attempts to change the uniforms in '06-'08 (those purple pants were god awful too). Probably won't see another alternate uniform this year. Expect them to try it again once or twice next year tho.

K State should not be ranked 13. Three of their conference wins were to average teams. OU, OSU and ISU are nothing special this year. I think this year the Cats will lose to KU. Will Howard gives this team a better chance to win games than does Martinez. Next loss to Baylor.

Texas is incredibly bad in the second half. Not to mention out-of-nowhere penalties and fumbles too. Having fun is ok but it is about time to drop drama act and be serious. Three head coaches got fired, A.D. got fired, 17 staff got fired, players recruited against Tom Herman, that poor horn-down sign. Worthy and Ewers did the best but they have to be better. They are far from NFL caliber yet. So stop comparing Ewers to Stafford.

Yeah this is definitely the dumbest take I have seen….He’s in one of if not the most important position on the field playing his first season. He made some incredibly accurate throws in this game, the deep ball needs worked on but that’s literally it. How about the 15-20 of distance between DB’s and every K State receiver??
