I absolutely loved this video. It's so inspirational. I wish to run the Moab 240 one day if I can ever train to that level. When you mentioned something about tapping into the darkness, David Goggin style - it struck me. Recently I've gotten into running and it's been about 6 weeks and I've lost so much weight, gotten leaner and my heart is slowly getting stronger. Running is like meditation to me. I love going for morning runs. These types of videos are my favorite.

It's not in my make-up to bitch and moan throughout something or even express that I am struggling in any way. If I stick to being positive it helps me to keep pushing. I understand the wearing black thing, whilst it does absorb more heat, it does protect from the UV rays more, so maybe it's a double edged sword but I would say it doesn't have a big impact (on me at least). At the same time, I like the heat, that's why you haven't seen me running across the Antarctic yet
