240407 GTRNZ Round 5 Race 2, 2024

My second GT Racing New Zealand event where I competed in the GT2 class with my Subaru Impreza. Started P15 in a handicapped 10-lap race, 40 seconds after the first flag drop. I was overtaken early by Shane in the 52 Honda, Shane in the 25 Honda, and Josh in the 27 Subaru. I hunted HITMAN Shane in the 25 Honda and passed him along with Terry in the 4 Nissan before the red flag at T1. I was P10 at the red flag restart and jumped 6 cars at the start with an illegal pass down pit entry which I received a 10 second penalty for. I finished the race in P4 overall, P3 in class, and was demoted to P6 after my penalty was applied. Super fun race to be part of and some insanely fast cars to be racing with!
