@@visionproject.89 what was the easiest way for you to remove the lenses? I'm afraid to pry with a screwdriver for fear of cracking the lens. Also saw those clips, did you just jam screwdrivers in to hold each one open while prying the lens off?
@visionproject.895 жыл бұрын
Chris.6MT put your taillight in the oven. Pre heated to 220 degrees. And bake it for 8 to 10 mins. After that immediately pry it from all corners and try to put the glue while prying. Good luck. Let me know how it goes
@Chris.65 жыл бұрын
@@visionproject.89 hmm I'll try that, was using my heat gun since I used that last time for the headlight retrofits. Dis you use a screwdriver to pry it open or something wider to prevent cracking the lens
@visionproject.895 жыл бұрын
@@Chris.6 once you bake it. the glue will get soft enough to pry it open. use at least 2 flat heads and pry them from every direction slowly. its easy.

My koukis just arrived today, and I'm super sketched about putting them in the oven of course especially since they aren't cheap... 😬 Did you put both in the oven or one at a time? Exactly how hot, bake? 😂 And how long, were you constantly checking it after 5 mins? While checking it were you trying to pry it apart with your hands to see if it's melted?
@visionproject.894 жыл бұрын
Pre heat it to 350 and once the oven is ready. Put it for 5 mins. Take it out see if the glue is soft. Pry it slowly so you won't crack the plastic. If it's still hard put it back for 3 mins. Use two flat screw drivers. Take your time and good luck dude. Let me know if you need any help
