Here’s a thought. After topping with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, drizzle with some caramel syrup. And that reminds me. Several years ago Blue Bell made the most delicious flavor I have ever had, Cinnamon Caramel Crunch. Does anybody remember that? I think they only made it for a short time. I am a chocoholic, but I liked that ice cream more than chocolate. I cried when they discontinued it.

Gooooood Morning my sister from across the pond. I'm finally back online after four weeks. My modem was struck by lightning and let me tell you Gay it was a real ordeal to get it replaced. They said 7 days for delivery of the new one but at 10 days I rang them and it had not even left the building. Man was I angry. Then when they resent it they sent it to our old address which we have not been there for nearly 3 years. So we tried to track it with the courier but their system had been hacked so we could not track it. You getting my story here Gay? It was one disaster after another. So now I am back online and able to watch you tube again, thankyou Goddess. This apple delight angel food cake looked so tasty and so easy to make. The cake looks yummy! Ms. Gay, how many ounces is the can of apple pie filling that you used? I'm thinking this is also a great recipe for people who are stocking up their pantry in case of a COVID-19 quarantine. All the ingredients are shelf-stable for quite awhile :-)

Ya know...I just put a cup of sugar in a shaker....and start with 1/4 c or less cinnamon.....I go by the color.

I just found your channel and love you energy/vibe:) you remind me of watching my beloved late grandmother in her kitchen. Oh how I miss her so! If any of you on here are blessed enough to still have your grandparents? Treasure every moment with them! Ask them questions about their lives. Ask them to share their photo albums and recipes with you. Make sure you ask who the special people are in those albums and if any of the recipes have special meaning? You will be so glad you did when they’re no longer with you. 🦋🌷 With that said, I only had a can of cherry pie filing. But I did have an Angel food cake mix. The only thing I added was some almond extract, some slivered almonds I had in my freezer and I did the cinnamon/sugar topping you did in this recipe. It’s in the oven as I type this and I’m looking forward to trying it with some vanilla bean ice cream! 😋 Thank you so much for this recipe and just for sharing your lovely energy.
