My older sister was named Sarah. She was my best friend my whole life. She fell into drugs and the real her was hard to find for a long time. Eventually she passed away, the lifetime of substance abuse took its toll. It’s been four years and I’ve found about as much peace as one can. But the idea that she ran off and ended up in Night Vale, finding weird hats with teeth, is kind of a comfort.💜 I love this show.

The bit about losing perspective hits home. But as long you remember no one makes a pizza like Big Rico's Pizza... NO ONE... then you still have a healthy amount of perspective.

Could just be me speculating too much, but what if the family fun comic was about Kevin? The little boy is Kevin, with his obsession with blood/violence? In He Is Still Holding A Knife, we've seen that even the young boy Kevin gravitates toward violence. "The boy knows the truth, knows what the boat means, and he relishes it, he hungers for the terrible and violent future that waits him, for he knows that deep down he is a terrible and violent person". If that's true, are we, the listeners, the grandpa? Wanting so badly to see Kevin as a redeemable person, having heard about his past with Strex? I'm not super sure, because he did sound genuine in wanting to stand up for his town in Tryptch, but...I don't know. Also this episode is beautiful, I loved it so much!

Interesting idea! I speculated a while back that the boy on the card in the Tarot episode is Kevin. It would be interesting if the writers are peppering in reminders of the character in the background. Especially since Kevin (in some ways) tells us a lot about Cecil and his possible background.

I guess so. 🤷‍♀️ I can’t remember if it was mentioned in the University arc finale. But they could easily say it just went off to some other dimension on vacation if they ever wanted to bring it back. But I kind of like that some changes stay. This allows for growth for characters and new situations to play around with.

@EdenHellCipher It wasn't explicitly mentioned. Only the Glow Cloud was explicitly called out as being un-un-explainable. My personal theory is they've decided to go on an unexplained vacation due to having been explained away.
